Claims (25)
- 粒子フィルタ再生装置において、
エンジンから排気ガスを排出するように構成された主排気チャネルと、
前記排気チャネルに結合したバイパスチャネルであって、前記主排気チャネルから排気ガスを排出し、次いで、排気ガスが粒子フィルタを通る前に、前記排気ガスを前記主排気チャネルに再導入するように構成されたバイパス排気チャネルと、
前記排気ガスを点火し、前記排気ガスの温度を上昇させるように構成された、バイパス排気チャネル内側面に結合したバーナと、
前記主排気チャネルと一体化され、かつ前記バイパス排気チャネルの下流に配置される前記粒子フィルタであって、前記排気ガスから粒子を除去するように構成される前記粒子フィルタと、
複数の排気ガス変量をモニタリングし、かつ複数の前記排気ガス変量に応じて排気ガスの一部がバイパス排気チャネルを通り選択的に迂回するように構成された再生モジュールと、
を具えることを特徴とする粒子フィルタ再生装置。 - 前記再生モジュールに接続しており、かつ前記再生モジュールからの指令に応じて排気ガスの一部をバイパス排気チャネルに通して案内するように構成されたバルブを更に備えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記再生モジュールは、約5〜25%の範囲の排気ガスを前記バイパス排気チャネルに通して案内する指令を前記バルブにするように構成されていることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の装置。
- 前記バーナが、前記排気ガスの温度を所定の温度まで上昇させるように構成され、排気ガスの初期温度と燃焼後の温度との差が、約100〜400°Cであることを特徴とすることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記排気ガスの初期温度と燃焼後の温度との差が、約200°Cであることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の装置。
- 前記バイパス排気チャンバ内に未点火燃料を注入するように構成されたインジェクタをさらに具えることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の装置。

前記内燃機関から排気ガスを排出するように構成された主排気チャネルと、
前記主排気チャネルに接続されたバイパス排気チャネルであって、前記主排気チャネルから排気ガスを排出し、前記排気ガスを前記主排気チャネルに再導入するように構成されたバイパス排気チャネルと、
前記排気ガスを点火し、続いて前記排気ガスの温度を上昇させるように構成された、バイパス排気チャネル内側面に結合されたバーナと、
前記主排気チャネルと一体化され、かつ前記バイパス排気チャネルの下流に配置された粒子フィルタであって、前記粒子フィルタが前記排気ガスから粒子を除去するように構成される、粒子フィルタと、
複数の排気ガス変量をモニタリングし、前記複数の排気ガス変量に応じて前記排気ガスの一部が前記排気チャネルに通って選択的に迂回するように構成された再生モジュールと、
を具えることを特徴とする粒子フィルタ再生システム。 - 前記再生モジュールと接続しており、かつ前記再生モジュールからの指令に応じて前記排気ガスの一部を前記バイパス排気チャネルに通して案内するように構成されたバルブを更に具えることを特徴とする請求項8に記載のシステム。
- 前記再生モジュールが、約5〜25%の間の範囲の排気ガスをバイパス排気チャネルに通して案内する指令を前記バルブにするように構成されていることを特徴とする請求項9に記載のシステム。
- 前記バーナが、所定温度まで排気ガス温度を上昇させるように構成され、排気ガスの初期温度と燃焼後の温度との差が、約100〜400°Cの範囲であることを特徴とする請求項8に記載のシステム。
- 前記排気ガスの初期温度と燃焼後の温度の差が、約200°Cであることを特徴とする請求項11に記載のシステム。
- 未点火燃料をバイパス排気チャンバ内に注入するように構成されるインジェクタをさらに具えることを特徴とする請求項11に記載のシステム。
- 前記複数の排気ガス変量が、温度、圧力、酸素含有量、窒素酸化物含有量および流量からなる群から選択されることを特徴とする請求項8に記載のシステム。
- 粒子フィルタを再生する操作を行うために、デジタル処理装置によって実行可能である機械読み取り可能な指令のプログラムから構成される信号担持媒体であって、前記操作が、
内燃機関から排気ガスを排出するステップと、
主排気チャネルから排気ガスを排出し、続いて、前記主排気チャネル内に排気ガスを再導入するステップと、
前記排気ガスを点火し、続いて、前記排気ガスの温度を上昇させるステップと、
前記排気ガスから粒子を除去するステップと、
複数の排気ガス変量をモニタリングし、前記複数の排気ガス変量に応じて前記排気ガスの一部をバイパス排気チャネルを介して迂回させるステップと、
を具えることを特徴とする信号担持媒体。 - 前記指令が、再生モジュールからの指令に応じて、前記排ガスの一部を前記バイパス排気チャネルに通して案内する操作をさらに具えることを特徴とする請求項15に記載の信号担持媒体。
- 前記指令は、約5〜25%の間の範囲の排気ガスを前記バイパス排気チャネルに通して案内する操作をさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項16に記載の信号担持媒体。
- 前記指令が、前記排気ガス温度を所定の温度まで上昇させる操作をさらに具え、前記排気ガスの初期温度と燃焼後の温度との差が、約100〜400°Cの範囲であることを特徴とする請求項16に記載の信号担持媒体。
- 前記指令が、未点火燃料を前記バイパス排気チャンバに注入する操作をさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項16に記載の信号担持媒体。
- 粒子フィルタ再生方法であって、前記方法が、
内燃機関から排気ガスを排出するステップと、
主排気チャネルから排気ガスを排出し、続いて、前記排気ガスを前記主排気チャネルに再導入するステップと、
前記排気ガスを点火し、続いて前記排気ガスの温度を上昇させるステップと、
前記排気ガスから粒子を除去するステップと、
複数の排気ガス変量をモニタリングし、複数の排気ガス変量に応じて前記排ガスの一部を選択的にそらせてバイパス排気チャネルを通すステップと、
を具えることを特徴とする粒子フィルタ再生方法。 - 前記排気ガスの一部を前記排気チャネルに通して案内するステップをさらに具えることを特徴とする請求項20に記載の方法。
- 約5〜25%の範囲の排気ガスを前記バイパス排気チャネルに通して案内するステップをさらに具えることを特徴とする請求項20に記載の方法。
- 前記排気ガスの温度を所定温度まで上昇させるステップをさらに具え、前記排気ガスの初期温度と燃焼後の温度との間の差が、約100〜400°Cの範囲であることを特徴とする請求項20に記載の方法。
- 未点火燃料を前記バイパス排気チャンバに注入するステップをさらに具えることを特徴とする請求項20に記載の方法。
- 粒子フィルタ再生装置であって、前記装置が、
内燃機関から排気ガスを排出する手段と、
主排気チャネルから排気ガスを排出し、続いて、前記排ガスを前記主排気チャネルに再導入する手段と、
前記排気ガスを点火し、続いて、前記排気ガスの温度を上昇させる手段と、
前記排気ガスから粒子を除去する手段と、
複数の排気ガス変量をモニタリングし、前記複数の排気ガス変量に応じて前記排気ガスの一部を選択的にそらせてバイパス排気チャネルに通す手段と、
を具えることを特徴とする粒子フィルタ再生装置。
