Abstract
Description
以下の限定されない実施例においては、以下の試験方法を用いて、様々な記録された特徴および特性を判断した。ASTMとは、米国材料試験協会のことである。ISOとは、国際標準化機構のことである。TAPPIとは、パルプ製紙業界技術協会のことである。
HW=公称坪量が84g/m2の坪量および厚さが222μmのTyvek(登録商標)1580B。
HWM=公称坪量が84g/m2の坪量および厚さが222μmのTyvek(登録商標)Reflex(登録商標)3480Mハウスラップ。Tyvek(登録商標)Reflex(登録商標)3480Mハウスラップは、厚さ36nmのアルミニウム層で金属化し、フレキソ印刷技術を用いて、1.5g/m2の有機ラッカーコーティングでコートしたもので、複合体光学密度は2.5である。
CW=公称坪量が82g/m2の坪量および厚さが180μmのTyvek(登録商標)1162B CommercialWrap(登録商標)。Tyvek(登録商標)1580B、Tyvek(登録商標)Reflex(登録商標)3480MおよびTyvek(登録商標)1162B CommercialWrap)(登録商標)は、DuPontより入手可能である。
モノマー/オリゴマー組成物:
SR606=反応性ポリエステルジアクリレート
SR9003=プロポキシル化ネオペンチルグリコールジアクリレート
SR606およびSR9003は、Sartomer Company(Exton,PA)より市販されている。
CWのロール試料(長さ460m×幅41cm)を、真空コーティング/金属化機で、SR606またはSR9003層でコートし、アルミニウムで金属化して、表1に示す実施例1〜4を作製した。「Al」は、アルミニウム層を示し、「L1」および「L2」は、SR606またはSR9003の個々の層を表している。
金属化後、Micrex Corporation(Walpole,MA)製Micrex Microcreper機を用いて、11%の圧縮比まで、様々なクレープ加工シムを用いて、コートしたロールをクレープ加工した。圧縮比は、(未圧縮シート長さ−圧縮シート長さ)/未圧縮シート長さで計算する。クレープ加工されたコートしたロールを、幅4インチのストリップになるまで細長く切った。クレープ加工した実施例を、実施例1および2と同じ材料から作製し、それぞれ、実施例5、6とした。次に、ストリップをブチル接着剤および100lbの剥離紙でコートして、雨仕舞材料を形成した。
実施例1、比較例EのTyvek(登録商標)StraightFlash(登録商標)(DuPontより入手可能)、比較例FのWindow Wrap(登録商標)(MFM Building Products Corp.,Coshocton,Ohio)および比較例GのPella Flashing Tape(Pella,Iowaより入手可能)の1インチ×8インチの引張り強度を測定した。雨仕舞材料試料毎に6回の測定を行った。それぞれの平均を表2に示す。
Claims (22)
- 粘着性ラミネートであって、
第1と第2の外側表面を有するシート層であって、不織布、織布、不織布−フィルムラミネート、織布−フィルムラミネート、フィルム、紙−フィルムラミネートおよびこれらの複合体からなる群から選択される少なくとも1つの層を含むシート層と、
前記シート層の前記第1の外側表面上の少なくとも1つの多層コーティングであって、前記シート層の前記第1の外側表面に隣接する第1の金属コーティング層と、前記金属層上に付着した有機ポリマー、有機オリゴマー、化合物およびこれらの組み合わせからなる群から選択される材料を含有する組成の外側有機コーティング層とを含む多層コーティングと、
前記シート層の前記第2の外側表面をコートする接着層と、
前記シート層と反対の前記接着層の側で、前記接着層を覆う任意の剥離層とを含み、
前記多層コーティングでコートされた前記シート層がクレープ加工されていて、前記ラミネートの輻射率が0.40以下である粘着性ラミネート。 - 前記シート層の第1の外側表面と前記第1の金属コーティング層との間に配置され、厚さが0.02マイクロメートル〜2マイクロメートルの有機ポリマー、有機オリゴマー、化合物およびこれらの組み合わせからなる群から選択される材料を含有する組成の中間有機コーティング層を含む請求項1に記載の粘着性ラミネート。
- 前記粘着性ラミネートが、28日間キセノンUV露光試験後、実質的な劣化を示さない請求項1に記載の粘着性ラミネート。
- 前記ラミネートが、厚さ方向にしわが実質的にない請求項1に記載の粘着性ラミネート。
- クレープ加工のない前記多層コーティングでコートした同じシート層の前記輻射率の2倍以下の輻射率を有する請求項1に記載の粘着性ラミネート。
- 前記多層コーティングが、前記第1の金属コーティング層と前記外側有機コーティング層との間に、厚さが10nm未満の金属酸化コーティング層をさらに含む請求項1または2に記載の粘着性ラミネート。
- 前記シート層が、フラッシュスパン不織布、スパンボンド不織布およびスパンボンド−メルトブローン−スパンボンド不織布からなる群から選択される少なくとも1つの不織布を含む請求項1または2に記載の粘着性ラミネート。
- 前記不織布が、フラッシュスパンポリエチレン不織布である請求項8に記載の粘着性ラミネート。
- 前記金属層の前記金属が、アルミニウム、銀、金、銅、錫、亜鉛、ケイ素、スカンジウム、チタン、バナジウム、クロム、マンガン、コバルト、ニッケル、イットリウム、ジルコニウム、ニオブ、モリブデン、インジウムおよびこれらの合金からなる群から選択される請求項1または2に記載の粘着性ラミネート。
- 前記接着層が、ブチルゴム、ポリイソブチレン、ビチューメン、アクリル、ホットメルト接着剤、エチレンプロピレンゴムおよびゴム入りアスファルトからなる群から選択される請求項1または2に記載の粘着性ラミネート。
- 前記第1の金属コーティング層の厚さが15nm〜200nmであり、前記外側有機コーティング層の厚さが0.2マイクロメートル〜5マイクロメートルである請求項1または2に記載の粘着性ラミネート。
- 前記外側有機コーティング層が、架橋ポリアクリレートおよびフッ素化アクリレートオリゴマーからなる群から選択される材料を含有する請求項1または2に記載の粘着性ラミネート。
- 引張り強度が少なくとも30N/cmである請求項1または2に記載の粘着性ラミネート。
- 請求項11に記載の前記粘着性ラミネートを含む粘着性雨仕舞材料。
- 建物窓割り枠のフランジと、前記フランジに隣接する壁部分の組み合わせにおいて、請求項14に記載の前記粘着性雨仕舞材料が、前記フランジと前記隣接する壁部分により形成された継目を覆ってシールする関係で配置されており、前記接着層が、前記フランジと前記隣接する壁部分を係合しており、前記フランジと隣接する壁部分を係合する前に、前記任意の剥離層が除去されて、前記接着剤が露出される組み合わせ。
- 前記壁部分が、耐水性バリアでカバーされており、前記耐水性バリアが前記窓割りフランジの下にある請求項15に記載の組み合わせ。
- 前記耐水性バリアが、金属化された第2のシート層を含み、前記第2のシート層が、不織布、織布、フィルム、不織布−フィルムラミネート、織布−フィルムラミネートおよびこれらの複合体からなる群から選択される請求項16に記載の組み合わせ。
- 建築バリアであって、
第1と第2の外側表面を有するシート層であって、不織布、織布、不織布−フィルムラミネート、織布−フィルムラミネート、フィルム、紙−フィルムラミネートおよびこれらの複合体からなる群から選択される少なくとも1つの層を含むシート層と、
前記シート層の前記第1の外側表面上の少なくとも1つの多層コーティングであって、前記シート層の前記第1の外側表面に隣接する、厚さが15nm〜200nmの第1の金属コーティング層と、前記金属層上に付着した、厚さが0.2マイクロメートル〜5マイクロメートルの有機ポリマー、有機オリゴマー、化合物およびこれらの組み合わせからなる群から選択される材料を含有する組成の外側有機コーティング層とを含む多層コーティングとを含み、
前記多層コーティングでコートされた前記シート層がクレープ加工されていて、
クレープ加工された建築バリアの輻射率が0.40以下である建築バリア。 - 前記シート層の前記第1の外側表面と前記第1の金属コーティング層との間に配置され、厚さが0.02マイクロメートル〜2マイクロメートルの有機ポリマー、有機オリゴマー、化合物およびこれらの組み合わせからなる群から選択される材料を含有する組成の中間有機コーティング層を含む請求項18に記載の建築バリア。
- 建物の壁部分に取り付けられた周囲フランジを備えた建物窓割り枠をシールする方法であって、
a)請求項15に記載の粘着性雨仕舞材料を提供し、前記任意の剥離層を除去して前記接着層を露出する工程と、
b)前記窓割り枠の前記周囲フランジの一部および前記隣接する壁部分の表面を覆ってシールする関係で前記粘着性雨仕舞材料を適用して、前記枠の端部と前記壁部分の隣接する表面により形成された継目を前記接着層によってシールして、前記窓枠の前記フランジと前記隣接する壁部分を係合し、ここで前記多層コーティングが前記接着層に対して外側を向いている工程と
を含む方法。 - 前記壁部分が耐水性バリアでカバーされており、前記耐水性バリアが前記窓割りフランジの下にある請求項20に記載の方法。
- 前記耐水性バリアが、金属化された第2のシート層を含み、前記第2のシート層が、不織布、織布、フィルム、不織布−フィルムラミネート、織布−フィルムラミネートおよびこれらの複合体からなる群から選択される請求項21に記載の方法。
