Description
発明の分野
本発明は、電力採取装置(power harvesting devices)に無線で電力を送信することに関する。より具体的には、本発明は、電力採取装置に無線電力送信するための電力送信機を実装することに関する。
プロセッサの能力が拡大し、かつ所要電力が減少したので、電線または電源コードから完全に独立して動作する装置の爆発的な増加が進行中である。これらの「無索式(untethered)」装置は、携帯電話および無線キーボードから、ビルのセンサおよび能動無線周波数識別(RFID)タグまで及ぶ。
本発明は、電力採取装置に無線で電力を供給するための電力送信システムに関する。このシステムには、少なくとも1つのRF電力送信機が含まれる。このシステムには、送信機が電気的に接続されるAC電力グリッドが含まれる。

Claims (57)
- 電力採取装置に無線で電力を供給するための電力送信システムであって、
少なくとも1つのRF電力送信機と、
前記送信機が電気的に接続されるAC電力グリッドと、
を含むシステム。 - 前記電力グリッドがアウトレットを有する、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記送信機が、前記アウトレットにプラグ接続されるコードを有する、請求項2に記載のシステム。
- 前記送信機が、前記アウトレットに直接プラグ接続される、請求項2に記載のシステム。
- 前記電力グリッドが電灯を有する、請求項2に記載のシステム。
- 前記電力グリッドが、前記電灯をつける電灯スイッチを有する、請求項5に記載のシステム。
- 前記グリッドが壁埋め込み配線を含む、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記送信機が前記アウトレットに統合される、請求項7に記載のシステム。
- 前記グリッドが照明器具を有し、前記送信機が前記器具とコンタクトする、請求項2に記載のシステム。
- 前記グリッドが照明器具を有し、前記電灯および前記送信機の一方または他方が前記器具とコンタクトする、請求項5に記載のシステム。
- 前記グリッドが、前記送信機がコンタクトする電柱を含む、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記グリッドが、前記送信機がコンタクトする接続箱を含む、請求項1に記載のシステム。

少なくとも1つのRF電力送信機と、
前記送信機が電気的に接続されるDC電力グリッドと、
を含むシステム。 - 前記送信機が車両に配置される、請求項14に記載のシステム。
- 前記送信機が、前記車両の車室にわたってカバレッジエリアを提供する、請求項15に記載のシステム。
- 前記送信機が、前記車両のダッシュボード、トランク、車室、天井またはエンジンルームとコンタクトする、請求項16に記載のシステム。
- RF電力採取装置に無線で電力を供給するための調整可能なRF電力送信機であって、
3インチ×3インチ×8インチ以下の外部寸法を有するハウジングと、
電力入力部と、
前記電力入力部と通信する周波数発生器と、
前記周波数発生器と通信する増幅器と、
前記周波数発生器に接続されたコントローラと、
前記増幅器に接続されたアンテナと、
を含む送信機。 - 前記電力入力部、前記周波数発生器および前記増幅器が配置される回路基板を含む、請求項18に記載の送信機。
- 前記回路基板とコンタクトするヒートシンクを含む、請求項19に記載の送信機。
- 前記回路基板に隣接して配置されたファンを含む、請求項20に記載の送信機。
- RF電力採取装置に無線で電力を供給するための電力送信システムであって、
コンピュータと、
アンテナと、
前記アンテナおよび前記コンピュータと通信するRF送信機と、
前記RF送信機および前記コンピュータと電気通信する電源と、
を含むシステム。 - 前記RF送信機が前記コンピュータに配置される、請求項22に記載のシステム。
- 前記コンピュータが電源ポートを有し、前記送信機が前記電源ポートにプラグ接続される、請求項22に記載のシステム。
- 前記電源ポートがUSBポートである、請求項24に記載のシステム。
- 前記アンテナが前記送信機に統合される、請求項22に記載のシステム。
- ディスプレイを含み、かつ前記アンテナが前記ディスプレイとコンタクトする、請求項22に記載のシステム。
- 電力採取装置に無線で電力を供給するための機器であって、
少なくとも1つのRF電力送信機と、
前記送信機が接続されると共にそこから前記送信機が電力を受信する照明器具と、
を含む機器。 - 前記照明器具が蛍光照明器具である、請求項28に記載の機器。
- 前記照明器具が白熱照明器具である、請求項28に記載の機器。
- 前記照明器具がLED照明器具である、請求項28に記載の機器。
- 前記照明器具と電気通信する光源を含む、請求項28に記載の機器。
- 電力採取装置に無線で電力を供給するための電力送信システムであって、
少なくとも1つのRF電力送信機と、
前記送信機が電気的に接続される電力供給トラックと、
を含むシステム。 - 少なくとも2つの電力送信機がある、請求項33に記載のシステム。
- 前記トラックに電気的に接続された少なくとも2つの電灯を含む、請求項34に記載のシステム。
- 前記トラックが、第1の導体および第2の導体を含む、請求項35に記載のシステム。
- 前記トラックが、壁または天井に装着された支持体を含む、請求項36に記載のシステム。
- 電力採取装置に無線で電力を供給するための電力送信システムであって、
少なくとも1つのRF電力送信機と、
前記送信機が電気的に接続される電池充電ユニットと、
を含むシステム。 - 電力採取装置に無線で電力を供給するための電力送信システムであって、
少なくとも1つのRF電力送信機と、
前記送信機が電気的に接続される少なくとも1つの再充電可能電池と、
を含むシステム。 - 前記電池に電子的に接続された前記電力採取装置に電力を送信する第2のRF電力送信機を含む、請求項39に記載のシステム。
- 電力採取装置によって電力が供給されるバルブセンサを含む、請求項40に記載のシステム。
- 電力採取装置に無線で電力を供給するための方法であって、
少なくとも1つのRF電力送信機をAC電力グリッドに電気的に接続するステップと、
前記RF電力送信機を用いて電力を送信するステップと、
を含む方法。 - 電力採取装置に無線で電力を供給するための方法であって、
少なくとも1つのRF電力送信機をDC電力グリッドに電気的に接続するステップと、
前記RF電力送信機を用いて電力を送信するステップと、

電源をRF送信機およびコンピュータと電気的に接続するステップと、
前記RF電力送信機を用いて電力を送信するステップと、

少なくとも1つのRF電力送信機を、前記送信機がコンタクトすると共にそこから前記送信機が電力を受信する照明器具と電気的に接続するステップと、

少なくとも1つのRF電力送信機を電池充電ユニットに電気的に接続するステップと、

を含む機器。 - RF電力採取装置に無線で電力を供給するための電力送信システムであって、
アンテナと、
前記アンテナと通信するRF送信機と、
前記RF送信機と通信し、かつ装置と通信するように配置されるように構成されたコネクタと、
を含むシステム。 - 前記装置がコンピュータである、請求項49に記載のシステム。
- 前記コネクタがUSBコネクタである、請求項49に記載のシステム。
- AC電源アウトレットを有するAC電力グリッドから電力採取装置に無線で電力を供給するための機器であって、
RF電力送信機と、
