Claims (40)
- ソレノイドコイルと、
付勢手段によって閉鎖位置に付勢されている弁要素に連結されるとともに、前記ソレノイドコイルが電流によって選択的に励磁されかつ励磁が遮断されたときに燃料弁を開閉するように作動可能なアーマチュアと、
制御手段と、を備え、
前記制御手段は、前記ソレノイドコイルに通電して磁気力を生じさせることにより前記アーマチュアおよび前記弁要素を移動させて燃料を供給するための開放位置へと弁を開放させ、前記開放位置への到達が、弁の開放を促す力と弁の閉鎖を促す力との間の差が所定値にあると前記制御手段が算出したときになされることを特徴とする燃料噴射装置。 - 前記弁の開放位置への到達は、弁の開放を促す力と弁の閉鎖を促す力とが釣り合っていると前記制御手段が算出したときになされることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の燃料噴射装置。
- 前記弁の開放位置への到達は、物理的ストッパとの衝突なしになされることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の燃料噴射装置。
- 前記弁が燃料噴射器の一部を形成しており、前記燃料噴射器を介して計量される燃料の量が前記燃料弁のストロークの制御によって制御されることを特徴とする請求項1から3のうちのいずれか一項に記載の燃料噴射装置。
- 前記燃料がガス燃料であることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の燃料噴射装置。
- 前記燃料噴射器が直接燃料噴射器であり、前記燃料が内燃エンジンの燃焼室へと前記直接燃料噴射器を介して計量されることを特徴とする請求項4または5に記載の燃料噴射装置。
- 前記内燃エンジンは、少なくともいくつかのエンジン運転状態において、火花点火内燃エンジンとして作動することを特徴とする請求項4から6のうちのいずれか一項に記載の燃料噴射装置。
- 前記燃料弁は前記燃料噴射器の一部を形成し、使用の際に、前記燃料弁の開放位置が前記燃料噴射器の燃料流量の要求にしたがって変化することを特徴とする請求項1から7のうちのいずれか一項に記載の燃料噴射装置。
- 弁の開放を促す力の大部分が弁の内側表面上に作用することを特徴とする請求項1から8のうちのいずれか一項に記載の燃料噴射装置。
- 前記弁の閉鎖を促す力の大部分が前記弁の外側表面上に作用することを特徴とする請求項1から9のうちのいずれか一項に記載の燃料噴射装置。
- 前記付勢手段は、一定のばね定数または剛さ特性を有したばねであることを特徴とする請求項1から10のうちのいずれか一項に記載の燃料噴射装置。
- 前記付勢手段は、可変ばね定数または剛さ特性を有したばねであり、前記弁が開放するにつれてその閉鎖力が増加するようになっていることを特徴とする請求項1から10のうちのいずれか一項に記載の燃料噴射装置。
- 前記ばね定数の値は、励磁されたソレノイドコイルが発生させる磁気力よりも高くなるように選択されることを特徴とする請求項11または12に記載の燃料噴射装置。
- 前記アーマチュアの軸方向のストロークが限定されていることを特徴とする請求項1から13のうちのいずれか一項に記載の燃料噴射装置。
- 前記軸方向のストロークは、制御されたアーマチュアの変位において前記弁要素に作用する他の力と釣り合うように、磁気力によって制御されることを特徴とする請求項14に記載の燃料噴射装置。

前記燃料噴射装置は、

付勢手段によって閉鎖位置に付勢されている弁要素に連結されるとともに、前記ソレノイドコイルが電流によって選択的に励磁されかつ励磁が遮断されたときに燃料弁を開閉するように作動可能なアーマチュアと、
制御手段と、を備え、
前記方法は、前記制御手段によって前記ソレノイドコイルを励磁させて磁気力を生じさせることにより前記アーマチュアおよび弁要素を移動させ、燃料を供給するための開放位置へと弁を開放させることを含み、
前記開放位置への到達が、弁の開放を促す力と弁の閉鎖を促す力との間の差が所定値にあると前記制御手段が算出したときになされることを特徴とする方法。 - 前記開放位置への到達は、弁の開放を促す力と弁の閉鎖を促す力とが釣り合っていると前記制御手段が算出したときになされることを特徴とする請求項22に記載の方法。

- ストローク長に対する制御が、制御された燃料計量のためのパラメータとして用いられることを特徴とする請求項22から26のうちのいずれか一項に記載の方法。

- 前記燃料がガス燃料であることを特徴とする請求項22から35のうちのいずれか一項に記載の方法。

前記エンジンは、ソレノイドコイルと、前記ソレノイドコイルに選択的に通電しかつ通電を遮断することによって燃料弁を開閉するように操作可能で付勢手段によって閉鎖位置に付勢されている弁要素に連結されたアーマチュアと、前記アーマチュアおよび弁要素を移動させて開放位置へと弁を開放させるための磁気力を生じさせるソレノイドコイルの励磁を制御する制御手段と、を具備する燃料噴射装置を有した燃料噴射装置を備え、
前記開放位置への到達は、弁の開放を促す力と弁の閉鎖を促す力との間の差が所定値にあると前記制御手段が算出したときになされることを特徴とする方法。 - 前記開放位置への到達は、弁の開放を促す力と弁の閉鎖を促す力とが釣り合っていると前記制御手段が算出したときになされることを特徴とする請求項37に記載の方法。
- 前記弁要素は、励磁されたソレノイドコイルに発生する磁気力の制御によって制御される速度で物理的ストッパに接触することを特徴とする請求項38に記載の方法。
