Description
本発明によるエアバッグ・カバーの有利な実施形態が従属請求項に記載されている。
ヒンジ・プレートのベース要素内の膨張折返部またはリフト・チューブもまた、本発明により、ヒンジ・プレートと爆破通路および開放フラップとの結合の間に設けられている。好ましい実施形態においては、膨張折返部は、ヒンジ軸に平行に、ヒンジ・プレートのベース要素と爆破通路との固定に直接隣接して設けられている。
エアバッグ・カバーの開放動作をさらに改善するために、有利な実施形態においては、膨張折返部の範囲内に、車両内室方向へのヒンジ・プレートの運動をダンピングするための手段が設けられている。このための適切な手段は、例えば、膨張折返部に沿って配置されている変形要素、丸ひも、波形および/または型押である。これにより、膨張折返部により可能となる、車両内室方向へのヒンジ・プレートの運動はダンピングされるので、エアバッグ・カバーの破断開放は制御され且つ開放するエアバッグ・カバーが制御されないで開口周辺内の計器盤の外板内に衝突することが阻止される。ダンピング要素により、さらに、カバーの加速度および速度、およびこれによって引き起こされる反力が低減される。

Claims (14)
- エアバッグ・カバーの閉鎖状態において目標破断位置(17)を介して内室パネル(10)と結合されている開放フラップ(9)と、
ヒンジ・フラップ(2)を介して開放フラップ(9)と平面で結合されているヒンジ・プレート(1)と、および
ヒンジ・プレート(1)に対するフレーム部分(4)として形成されている爆破通路(14)であって、ベース要素(3)を介してヒンジ・プレート(1)と結合され且つヒンジ・プレート(1)と共に複合部品(15)を形成する前記爆破通路(14)と、
を備えた、特に内室パネル(10)の収納室の内部に配置されている自動車エアバッグのためのエアバッグ・カバーにおいて、
前記ヒンジ・プレート(1)がヒンジ軸(5)に平行に膨張折返部(6)を有し、この場合、エアバッグ・カバーがヒンジ開放するとき、ヒンジ・プレート(1)は車両内室方向に移動可能であることを特徴とするエアバッグ・カバー。 - 前記膨張折返部(6)が、ヒンジ・プレート(1)とフレーム部分(4)および開放フラップ(9)との固定間の範囲内に、好ましくはヒンジ・プレート(1)およびフレーム部分(4)間の結合に隣接して設けられていることを特徴とする請求項1のエアバッグ・カバー。
- 前記ヒンジ・プレート(1)がメタル薄板であることを特徴とする請求項1または2のエアバッグ・カバー。
- 前記ヒンジ・プレート(1)が弾性プラスチックおよび/または繊維強化プラスチックおよび/または布強化プラスチックからなることを特徴とする請求項1または2のエアバッグ・カバー。
- 前記フレーム部分がメタル薄板であることを特徴とする請求項1ないし4のいずれかのエアバッグ・カバー。
- 前記フレーム部分(4)が弾性プラスチックおよび/または繊維強化プラスチックおよび/または布強化プラスチックからなることを特徴とする請求項1ないし5のいずれかのエアバッグ・カバー。
- 前記膨張折返部(6)の範囲内に、車両内室方向へのヒンジ・プレート(1)の運動をダンピングするための手段が設けられていることを特徴とする請求項1ないし6のいずれかのエアバッグ・カバー。
- ヒンジ・プレート(1)の運動をダンピングするための前記手段として、例えば変形要素、丸ひもまたは波形および/または型押のような少なくとも1つのダンピング要素(7)が設けられていることを特徴とする請求項7のエアバッグ・カバー。
- 前記フレーム部分(4)が、構成要素として、実質的に小穴および/または内孔を設けたアングル型材を含むことを特徴とする請求項1ないし8のいずれかのエアバッグ・カバー。
- 前記開放フラップ(9)が、発泡材料で裏打ちされた部品として設計された計器盤(10)の一体構成部分であることを特徴とする請求項1ないし9のいずれかのエアバッグ・カバー。
- 車両内室方向へのヒンジ・プレート(1)の運動の大きさ(18)は、前記膨張折返部(6)の展開長さに一致することを特徴とする請求項1ないし10のいずれかのエアバッグ・カバー。
- 前記膨張折返部(6)の前記展開長さが少なくとも開放フラップ(9)の全体構造厚さに対応することを特徴とする請求項1ないし11のいずれかのエアバッグ・カバー。
- 前記ヒンジ・フラップ(2)がエアバッグに対する衝突プレートとして形成されおよび前記ヒンジ・プレート(1)のベース要素(3)が爆破通路(14)の一部を形成することを特徴とする請求項1ないし12のいずれかのエアバッグ・カバー。
- ヒンジ・フラップ(2)およびベース要素(3)間において、ヒンジ軸(5)が、波形、型押および/または半径の形で形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1ないし13のいずれかのエアバッグ・カバー。
