Claims (11)
- 排ガスで貫流される少なくとも2個の構造物(3、4)を有し、内燃機関の排ガス内の粒子量を減少させる装置(1)であって、
運転中、排ガスがまず第1構造物(3)、続いて第2構造物(4)を貫流し、その際、第1構造物(3)と第2構造物(4)との間に電位差が発生されることを特徴とする内燃機関の排ガス内の粒子量を減少させる装置。 - 少なくとも1個の構造物(3、4)が、流体が貫流する多数の空洞を有することを特徴とする請求項1記載の装置。
- 少なくとも1個の構造物(3、4)が、ハニカム構造物(10)を備えることを特徴とする請求項1又は2記載の装置。
- 少なくともいずれか一方の構造物(3、4)が、少なくとも部分的に触媒活性被膜を有することを特徴とする請求項1から3の1つに記載の装置。
- 流れ方向(2)において、第1構造物(3)が第1長(7)を有し、第2構造物(4)が第2長(8)を有し、第2長(8)と第1長(7)との比が1より小さいことを特徴とする請求項1から4の1つに記載の装置。
- 流れ方向(2)において、第1構造物(3)が第1長(7)を有し、第1構造物(3)と第2構造物(4)との間に流れ方向(2)における間隔(9)が形成され、前記第1長(7)と間隔(9)との比が2より大きいことを特徴とする請求項1から5の1つに記載の装置。
- まず第1構造物(3)が、続いて第2構造物(4)が排ガスで貫流される内燃機関の排ガス内における粒子量を減少させる方法であって、
第1構造物(3)と第2構造物(4)との間に電位差を発生させることを特徴とする内燃機関の排ガス内の粒子量を減少する方法。 - 電位差を時間的にほぼ一定させることを特徴とする請求項7記載の方法。
- 電位差を時間的に変化させることを特徴とする請求項7記載の方法。
- 電位差が5kVより大きいことを特徴とする請求項7から9の1つに記載の方法。
- 第1構造物(3)と第2構造物(4)との間の電位差が正の電位差であることを特徴とする請求項7から10の1つに記載の方法。
