200 を使って5秒間超音波処理する。酸化デューテリウムによる希釈後、金コロイドの赤色はやや減じたが、依然肉眼で鮮明に視認される。各試料を −2℃のプロピレングリコール/水浴内に入れ、色の変化を定期的にチェックする。

Tub Silverを用い、例17と同様の手順を繰り返す。用いた水性銀コロイドは、凍結前において灰色である。室温に戻した後の試料はほぼ無色であるが、わずかに灰色味を有していた点を除き、例17とほぼ同様の結果が得られる。

- 視認可能な上面と、当該上面に形成された3つの視認窓とを有し、前記凍結インジケータ、前記累積時間-温度インジケータ及び前記しきい値インジケータが前記視認窓のそれぞれの1つから別個に視認可能である請求の範囲第7項に記載の組み合わせ型温度露出インジケータ。
- RFIDタグを備える請求の範囲第6項に記載の組み合わせ型温度露出インジケータ。
- 前記凍結インジケータは、
(a)インジケータ容積体、
(b)液体媒質中に固体粒子が分散されたインジケータ分散体で、前記インジケータ容積体内に収容され、凍結すると凝固して不可逆的な外見の変化をもたらすことが可能なインジケータ分散体、及び
(c)前記インジケータ容積体の周囲に延びて、前記インジケータ分散体からの液体蒸気の損失を防止する少なくとも1つの蒸気阻止部材、
を備える請求の範囲第1項に記載の組み合わせ型温度露出インジケータ。 - 前記凍結インジケータは、水性分散媒中に固体無機顔料粒子が分散された分散体で、凍結に応答して不可逆的な外見の変化を呈する分散体と、前記無機顔料分散体を収容するインジケータ容積体と、前記分散体を視認するための視認窓とを備え、前記凍結インジケータは、モニターすべきホスト製品に凍結インジケータを固定する取り付け装置を任意選択として更に備える請求の範囲第1項に記載の組み合わせ型温度露出インジケータ。
- RFIDタグを備える請求の範囲第1項に記載の組み合わせ型温度露出インジケータ。
- ホスト製品への付着または付設に適した組み合わせ型温度露出インジケータであって、
(a)基材、
(b)前記基材に支持された凍結インジケータ。及び
(c)前記基材に支持されたしきい値温度インジケータ、
を備え、前記凍結インジケータは凍結インジケータの凍結温度への露出に関する視覚上の指示を与えることができ、前記しきい値温度インジケータはしきい値温度インジケータの所定の過剰な周囲温度への露出に関する視覚上の指示を与えることができる組み合わせ型温度露出インジケータ。 - RFIDタグを備える請求の範囲第14項に記載の組み合わせ型温度露出インジケータ。
- ホスト製品への付着または付設に適した組み合わせ型温度露出インジケータであって、
(a)基材、
(b)前記基材に支持された凍結インジケータまたはしきい値温度インジケータ、及び
(c)前記基材に支持されたRFIDタグ、
を備え、前記凍結インジケータは凍結インジケータの凍結温度への露出に関する視覚上の指示を与えることができ、前記しきい値温度インジケータはしきい値温度インジケータの所定の過剰な周囲温度への露出に関する視覚上の指示を与えることができ、RFIDタグはホスト製品に関するデータを与えることができる組み合わせ型温度露出インジケータ。 - 任意選択としてのワクチンまたは注射器を含め、損傷し易い製品を使用のために供給する方法であって、
a)流通の段階で、複数の損傷し易い製品ユニットからなる1バッチ分の各個別ユニットに組み合わせ型温度露出インジケータを添付すること、
b)前記添付された組み合わせ型温度露出インジケータを有する複数の損傷し易い製品ユニットからなる1バッチ分を、使用地点に輸送すること、
c)前記使用地点において、各組み合わせ型インジケータを点検すること、及び
d)前記使用地点において、良好な露出指示を示すインジケータが添付されている損傷し易い製品を使用のために選択すること、
を含む方法。 - 前記組み合わせ型温度感応インジケータは、凍結への露出と累積的な周囲時間への露出に対して応答する請求の範囲第17項に記載の方法。
