Description
排出を削減し、且つエンジン効率を増大させるための精力的な努力がなされる。
これらの排出を削減することは可能であるが、動作中のエンジンの信頼性に関する関連コストおよび続いて起こる問題は、ディーゼルエンジンをそれほど魅力的に見えなくする。
本エンジン構成は、過給を伴うまたは過給無しのオットーエンジンとして使用でき、その結果、本エンジンは常に始動でき、常に異なるセタン価および制限された応力に適応したエンジンを備える圧縮調整の結果として、最適な効率で行なわれるであろう。セタン価は、点火遅れを測定することによって、動作中のエンジンで測定できる。
本エンジン構成は、過給を伴うまたは過給無しの部分的なHCCIエンジンとして使用でき、その結果、点火タイミングが圧縮制御の結果として制御され、且つ、エンジンのモードが、より高い負荷でのオットー・モードまたはディーゼル・モードに容易に切り換えられることを可能にする。
高出力のHCCI動作の場合、エンジンは、その効果的なカウンタバランス、弁機構の不存在、および、好ましいフラッシング・システムの提供によって、高速に適するに違いない。この動作モードでは、低い休息ガスの迅速なHCCI燃焼は、単に利益である場合がある。
本エンジンの原理は、直接噴射を伴うディーゼルエンジンであることが可能であり、この場合、図1における参照符号13は、インジェクタを示す。
位相調整は、エンジン回転速度、負荷、エンジン温度、燃料の種類、空気吸入温度または圧力に拘わらず、所望クランク角で発火点を設定する場合に使用される。発火点は、測定された発火点からのフィードバックによって適切に制御される。
Claims (7)
- 2つのクランクシャフト(1,3)を有する2ストローク対向シリンダエンジンであって、これらクランクシャフト(1,3)はそれぞれクランクシャフト歯車(14,17)に接続され、各々の前記クランクシャフト歯車(14,17)はそれぞれ中間歯車(15,16)に係合し、前記中間歯車(15,16)は前記クランクシャフト(1,3)の動作を同期させるために互いに係合し、
2つの前記中間歯車(15,16)それぞれの中心位置は、2つの前記クランクシャフト(1,3)間の位相位置を調整可能な設定装置(21)によって、調整可能な圧縮比を達成すべく共通に変位するように構成されることを特徴とする、エンジン。 - 2つの前記中間歯車(15,16)それぞれの前記中心位置は、前記中間歯車(15,16)を一斉に保持するリンク(19)上に位置する、請求項1記載のエンジン。
- 前記設定装置(21)は、前記リンク(19)を変位させるべく前記リンク(19)に接続される、請求項2記載のエンジン。
- 2つの前記クランクシャフト(1,3)は、互いに反対方向に回転するように構成される、請求項1乃至3の何れか一項に記載のエンジン。
- フラッシングのためのクランクハウジング・フラッシング・システムは、クランクハウジングとポート開口との間に配置された弁装置(11)によって開閉される、請求項1乃至4の何れか一項に記載のエンジン。
- 前記クランクシャフト(1,3)間の公称位相位置は、排気ガス・ポート(9)が対称ポート・タイミングよりも早く閉じるように設定される、請求項1乃至5の何れか一項に記載のエンジン。
- 前記クランクシャフト(1,3)間の公称位相位置は、排気ガス・ポート(9)がオーバーフロー・ポート(7,8)よりも早く閉じるように設定される、請求項1乃至6の何れか一項に記載のエンジン。
