Description
Claims (26)
- 複合湾曲を有する一の第1のレンズを保持するよう構成され、また、複合湾曲を有する一の第2のレンズを有する一の基部に向けて力を与え、それにより、前記第1のレンズの表面の一部が前記第2のレンズの表面の一部に最初に接触するよう構成される一の並進ステージと、
前記基部に取り付けられ、また、前記第2のレンズの前記湾曲に合致し、それにより、前記第2のレンズを保持するよう構成される一の位置合わせ固定具と、
前記第1のレンズと前記第2のレンズ間に一の溶剤を分配する一のディスペンサと、
前記位置合わせ固定具に近接して前記基部に取り付けられ、また、前記力に応じて屈曲し、それにより、前記第1のレンズ又は前記第2のレンズの一方が他方の湾曲に合致し、且つ、前記第2のレンズに対する前記第1のレンズの圧力が前記溶剤を前記第2のレンズの周囲部に向けて放射外方に押して前記第1のレンズを前記第2のレンズに結合するよう構成される一の変形可能シートと、
を含む、複数のレンズを結合するシステム。 - 前記並進ステージはさらに、前記第2のレンズに対して前記第1のレンズを保持し、それにより、前記第1のレンズが前記第2のレンズに前記溶剤を使用して結合されるよう構成される、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記第1のレンズの前記表面の前記一部は、前記第1のレンズの頂点である、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記第2のレンズの前記表面の前記一部は、前記第2のレンズの最下点である、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記第1のレンズの前記表面は、凸面である、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記第2のレンズの前記表面は、凹面である、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記溶剤は、前記第1のレンズ及び前記第2のレンズの前記表面から分子の深度において当該レンズを軟化し、それにより、前記第1のレンズを前記第2のレンズに結合する、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記第2のレンズは、前記第1のレンズより実質的に薄く、
前記第2のレンズは、前記第1のレンズの前記湾曲に合致する、請求項1に記載のシステム。 - 前記ディスペンサは、前記第1のレンズと前記第2のレンズ間に一の溶剤蒸気を分配するよう構成される、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記ディスペンサは、前記第1のレンズと前記第2のレンズ間に1つ以上の溶剤液滴を分配するよう構成される、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記ディスペンサは、一の溶剤内にレンズ材料の複数の粒子が分配された一のスラリーを分配するよう構成される、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記第1のレンズは、透明レンズであり、
前記第2のレンズは、偏光レンズである、請求項1に記載のシステム。 - 前記第1のレンズ及び前記第2のレンズは、ポリカーボネートレンズである、請求項8に記載のシステム。
- 前記溶剤は、ケトン系溶剤を含む、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記変形可能シートは、キャストシリコーンから形成される、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記並進ステージは、前記第1のレンズを保持する一の真空つかみ具を含む、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 複数のレンズを結合する方法であって、
それぞれ複合湾曲を有する第1のレンズ及び第2のレンズを供給することと、
前記レンズ間に一の溶剤を分配することと、
前記第1のレンズを前記第2のレンズに対して押し、それにより、前記第1のレンズの一の表面の一の第1の部分が前記第2のレンズの一の表面の一の第1の部分に最初に接触し、また、前記第1のレンズ又は前記第2のレンズの一方が他方の湾曲に合致することと、
を含み、
前記第2のレンズに対する前記第1のレンズの圧力が前記溶剤を前記第2のレンズの周囲部に向けて放射外方に押して前記第1のレンズを前記第2のレンズに結合する、方法。 - 前記第2のレンズに対して前記第1のレンズを保持し、それにより、前記第1のレンズが前記第2のレンズに前記溶剤を使用して結合されることをさらに含む、請求項13に記載の方法。
- 前記分配することは、一のケトン系溶剤を分配することを含み、
前記分配することは、前記第1のレンズ及び前記第2のレンズの前記表面から分子の深度において当該レンズを軟化し、それにより、前記第1のレンズが前記第2のレンズに結合することを含む、請求項13に記載の方法。 - 前記第2のレンズは、前記第1のレンズより実質的に薄く、

- 前記溶剤を分配することは、前記第1のレンズと前記第2のレンズ間に1つ以上の溶剤液滴を入れることを含む、請求項13に記載の方法。
- 前記分配することは、前記第1のレンズ及び前記第2のレンズを、一の溶剤と当該溶剤内のレンズ材料の複数の粒子を含む一のスラリーでドーピングすることを含む、請求項13に記載の方法。
- 前記第1のレンズは、透明レンズであり、
前記第2のレンズは、偏光レンズである、請求項13に記載の方法。 - 前記第1のレンズ及び前記第2のレンズは、ポリカーボネートレンズである、請求項20に記載の方法。
- 複合湾曲を有する一の第1のポリカーボネートレンズを保持するよう構成される一の真空つかみ具を有し、また、複合湾曲を有する一の第2のポリカーボネートレンズを有する一の基部に向けて力を与え、それにより、前記第1のレンズの頂点が前記第2のレンズの最下点に最初に接触するよう構成される一の並進ステージと、
前記基部に取り付けられ、また、前記第2のレンズの前記湾曲に合致し、それにより、前記第2のレンズを保持するよう構成される一の位置合わせ固定具と、
前記第1のレンズと前記第2のレンズ間に一の接着溶剤を分配する一のディスペンサと、
前記位置合わせ固定具に近接し、前記基部に取り付けられる一の治具に張られ、また、前記力に応じて屈曲し、それにより、前記第1のレンズ又は前記第2のレンズの一方が他方の湾曲に合致し、且つ、前記第2のレンズに対する前記第1のレンズの圧力が前記溶剤を前記第2のレンズの前記最下点から周囲部に向けて放射外方に押すよう構成される一の変形可能シートと、
を含み
前記並進ステージはさらに、前記レンズの前記周囲部における前記圧力を用いて前記第2のレンズに対して前記第1のレンズを保持し、それにより、前記第1のレンズが前記第2のレンズに前記溶剤を使用して結合されるよう構成される、複数のレンズを結合するシステム。
