Abstract
Description
工業的状況では、工業的及び化学的プロセスの目録などをモニタし、制御するために制御システムが使用される。通常、制御システムは、工業プロセス中の主要な場所に分散し、プロセス制御ループによって制御室中の制御回路に結合されたフィールド装置を使用してそのような機能を実行する。「フィールド装置」とは、工業プロセスの計測、制御及びモニタリングで使用される、分散制御又はプロセスモニタリングシステムにおける機能を実行する、現在知られている又は今後知られるであろうすべての装置を含む任意の装置をいう。
工業プロセス制御又はモニタリングシステムで使用するためのフィールド装置は、データを運ぶとともに電力を提供するように構成された2線式プロセス制御ループに接続するように構成された端子を含む。一つの実施態様では、フィールド装置中のRF回路は、変動する電力消費量を有する無線周波数通信のために構成されている。もう一つの実施態様では、RF回路は、別個のデジタル通信バスを介してフィールド装置に結合されている。また、プロセス通信信号に基づいてRF通信の電力を変調させる方法が提供される。
本発明の実施態様は、一般に、一方向又は双方向ワイヤレス通信のためのワイヤレス通信モジュールを備えたフィールド装置を提供する。ワイヤレス通信モジュールは、離れたところの装置又は場所からRF信号を送受信することができる。このモジュールの電力消費量は動的に変化可能であり、フィールド装置によって給電される。
Claims (15)
- プロセス制御ループに結合可能な複数の端子、
複数の端子の間に作動可能に結合され、中を流れる電流の量を決定するように構成された分流制御モジュール、及び
ワイヤレス通信回路に作動可能に結合されたデジタル通信バスを含み、
ワイヤレス通信回路が、フィールド装置から利用可能な余剰電力に基づいて変動する電力レベルで作動するように構成されているフィールド装置。 - ワイヤレス通信回路がフィールド装置内に配置されている、請求項1記載のフィールド装置。
- ワイヤレス通信回路がフィールド装置から離れたところに設置されている、請求項1記載のフィールド装置。
- 分流制御モジュールに作動可能に結合された通信電力制限モジュールをさらに含み、通信電力制限モジュールが、デジタル通信バスを介して提供される電力を制限するように構成されている、請求項1記載のフィールド装置。
- デジタル通信バスがコントローラエリアネットワークバスである、請求項1記載のフィールド装置。
- デジタル通信バスがローカルインタコネクトネットワーク(LIN)バスである、請求項1記載のフィールド装置。
- デジタル通信バスがシリアル通信インタフェース(SCI)バスである、請求項1記載のフィールド装置。
- デジタル通信バスがシリアルペリフェラルインタフェース(SPI)バスである、請求項1記載のフィールド装置。
- デジタル通信バスがI2Cバスである、請求項1記載のフィールド装置。
