Abstract
【解決手段】熱伝達装置10が、第1の金属材料からなる第1の保護層32と、第2の金属材料からなる第2の保護層34と、第1の金属層と第2の金属層との間に接合された熱伝達層36と、を含む。この熱伝達層36は、銅マトリクス内に酸化アルミニウム強化剤を分散させたものなどの金属マトリクス複合材料からなる。

Claims (20)
- 第1の金属材料からなる第1の保護層と、
第2の金属材料からなる第2の保護層と、
前記第1の保護層と第2の保護層との間に接合され、金属マトリクス複合材料からなる熱伝達層と、
を備える熱伝達装置。 - 前記金属マトリクス複合材料は、銅マトリクス内に酸化アルミニウム強化剤を分散させたものからなることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の熱伝達装置。
- 前記金属マトリクス複合材料は、約2.0重量%までの酸化アルミニウム強化剤を含むことを特徴とする請求項2に記載の熱伝達装置。
- 前記金属マトリクス複合材料は、約0.3重量%〜約1.5重量%の酸化アルミニウム強化剤を含むことを特徴とする請求項3に記載の熱伝達装置。
- 前記銅は、ほぼ純粋な銅であることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の熱伝達装置。
- 前記第1の金属材料および第2の金属材料は、ステンレススチールであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の熱伝達装置。
- 前記第1の保護層、第2の保護層および前記熱伝達層の端縁に、被覆をさらに備えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の熱伝達装置。
- 前記被覆は、ろう付け合金であることを特徴とする請求項7に記載の熱伝達装置。
- 前記被覆は、ニッケル基材料であることを特徴とする請求項7に記載の熱伝達装置。
- 前記第1の保護層と前記熱伝達層との間に接合された第1の拡散バリア層と、前記第2の保護層と前記熱伝達層との間に接合された第2の拡散バリア層と、をさらに備えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の熱伝達装置。
- 前記第1の拡散バリア層および第2の拡散バリア層の各々は、耐熱性金属からなることを特徴とする請求項10に記載の熱伝達装置。
- 第1のステンレススチール層と、
第2のステンレススチール層と、
前記第1のステンレススチール層と前記第2のステンレススチール層との間に接合され、銅マトリクス内に酸化アルミニウム強化剤が分散された金属マトリクス複合材料からなる熱伝達層と、
前記第1のステンレススチール層と前記熱伝達層との間に接合され、耐熱性材料からなる第1の拡散バリア層と、
前記第2のステンレススチール層と前記熱伝達層との間に接合され、耐熱性材料からなる第2の拡散バリア層と、
を備える熱伝達装置。 - 前記金属マトリクス複合材料は、約2.0重量%までの酸化アルミニウム強化剤を含むことを特徴とする請求項12に記載の熱伝達装置。
- 前記金属マトリクス複合材料は、約0.3重量%〜約1.5重量%の酸化アルミニウム強化剤を含むことを特徴とする請求項13に記載の熱伝達装置。
- 前記耐熱性材料は、セラミック材料であることを特徴とする請求項12に記載の熱伝達装置。
- 前記セラミック材料は、窒化物および炭窒化物の少なくとも一方を含むことを特徴とする請求項15に記載の熱伝達装置。
- 前記耐熱性材料は、チタン、ニオブ、タングステン、白金、レニウム、タンタル、クロム、モリブデンおよびこれらの組み合わせからなる群から選択された金属材料であることを特徴とする請求項12に記載の熱伝達装置。
- 前記耐熱性材料はニオブであることを特徴とする請求項12に記載の熱伝達装置。
- 金属マトリクス複合材料からなる熱伝達層に、第1の金属材料からなる第1の保護層と、第2の金属材料からなる第2の保護層と、を接合させること、
を含む、熱伝達装置を製造する方法。 - 前記第1の保護層と前記熱伝達層との間に耐熱性材料からなる第1の拡散バリア層を接合させることと、前記第2の保護層と前記熱伝達層との間に耐熱性材料からなる第2の拡散バリア層を接合させることと、をさらに含む請求項19に記載の方法。
