Abstract
【解決手段】 電線接続部11における電線1の固着力を向上させるため、端子接続部13に連設されたワイヤバレル16とインシュレーションバレル18を有する電線接続部11を備え、絶縁被覆された電線1の露出された芯線5を折り返してなる折り返し部9がワイヤバレル16により圧着され、電線1の絶縁被覆部7がインシュレーションバレル18により圧着されてなる端子3の圧着構造において、折り返した芯線5の先端10は、電線1の絶縁被覆部7に重ねて配置されインシュレーションバレル18により絶縁被覆と共に圧着されてなることを特徴とする。

Description
(実施例)
ここで、図5及び図6に、芯線5を圧着したワイヤバレル16の圧着後の高さ(C/H)と、抵抗値及び固着力の関係を示す。図5は、断面積75mm2のアルミニウム製の芯線5を使用した本実施形態の実施例であり、図6は、断面積75mm2のアルミニウム製の芯線5を折り返さずに圧着した比較例である。なお、図中の○は電線接続部11の固着力(端子圧着部強度)であり、△はサーマルショック試験後の実施例及び比較例の抵抗値(240サイクル抵抗)であり、□はサーマルショック試験を行っていない実施例及び比較例の抵抗値(初期抵抗)である。なお、サーマルショック試験は、図7に示すとおりの温度パターンで行われ、120℃の雰囲気中に30分間放置し、室温で5分間放置した後、−40℃の雰囲気中に30分間放置し、室温で5分間放置する。このサイクルを1サイクルとして、240サイクル行った。

Claims (3)
- 端子接続部に連設された第一の圧着部材と第二の圧着部材を有する電線接続部を備え、絶縁被覆された電線の露出された芯線を折り返してなる折り返し部が前記第一の圧着部材により圧着され、前記電線の絶縁被覆部が第二の圧着部材により圧着されてなる端子の圧着構造において、
折り返した前記芯線の先端は、前記電線の絶縁被覆部に重ねて配置され前記第二の圧着部材により前記絶縁被覆と共に圧着されてなることを特徴とする端子の圧着構造。 - 請求項1に記載の端子の圧着構造において、
前記第一の圧着部材と前記第二の圧着部材は、それぞれ前記端子接続部に連設された帯状部材の両側縁から折り曲げて形成された対向する一対の突出片であることを特徴とする端子の圧着構造。 - 請求項1に記載の端子の圧着構造において、
前記電線の芯線は、アルミニウムであることを特徴とする端子の圧着構造。
