Abstract
【解決手段】大判ガラス基板33上に従来の製造プロセスによってストッパ層41、および、複数の画素を形成する。大判ガラス基板33に対して対向用大判非ガラス基板38を貼り合わせて中間パネル45を形成する。大判ガラス基板33およびストッパ層41を除去する。大判ガラス基板33よりも薄膜状のアレイ用大判非ガラス基板を、接着層を介して対向用大判非ガラス基板38側と貼り合わせる。画素(薄膜トランジスタ層35)をアレイ用大判非ガラス基板28に転写するに際して、中間パネル45までを従来の製造プロセスで組み立てることができる。大幅な製造プロセスの工程変更や間接部材数の増加を抑えつつ、液晶表示パネル11の薄型化および軽量化を図ることができる。

Claims (3)
- ガラス基板上に除去防止層、および、この除去防止層上に複数の画素をそれぞれ形成する画素形成工程と、
前記ガラス基板に対して対向用非ガラス基板を貼り合わせて中間体を形成する第1貼り合わせ工程と、
前記ガラス基板を除去する第1除去工程と、
前記除去防止層を除去する第2除去工程と、
アレイ用非ガラス基板を前記対向用非ガラス基板と貼り合わせる第2貼り合わせ工程と
を具備したことを特徴とする表示素子の製造方法。 - ガラス基板上に少なくとも複数の画素をそれぞれ形成する画素形成工程と、
前記ガラス基板に対して対向用非ガラス基板を貼り合わせて中間体を形成する第1貼り合わせ工程と、
前記ガラス基板を研磨して所定厚みを残した薄板層とする研磨工程と、
前記薄板層に対してアレイ用非ガラス基板を貼り合わせる第2貼り合わせ工程と
を具備したことを特徴とする表示素子の製造方法。 - 前記対向用非ガラス基板と前記アレイ用非ガラス基板とを、同一材質とする
ことを特徴とする請求項1または2記載の表示素子の製造方法。
