Abstract

Claims (17)
- 第1の面および第2の面を有するポリカーボネート基板と、
前記ポリカーボネート基板の前記第1の面によって支持された成型回折構造と、
前記回折構造の少なくとも一部分上の反射増強コーティングと、を備えるオーバーレイであって、前記ポリカーボネート基板の前記第2の面が、熱および圧力の存在する状態で接着剤なしで適合表面に融着することができる前記オーバーレイの実質的に平らな外面を形成する、オーバーレイ。 - 前記反射増強コーティングが、金属コーティングを備える、請求項1に記載のオーバーレイ。
- 前記金属コーティングが、1つまたは複数の金属領域および1つまたは複数の金属の無い領域を備えるパターン形成されたコーティングである、請求項2に記載のオーバーレイ。
- 前記反射増強コーティングが、HRI層を備える、請求項2に記載のオーバーレイ。
- 前記基板が、レーザ彫刻可能ポリカーボネートを備える、請求項2に記載のオーバーレイ。
- 前記金属コーティングに除去空隙を形成し、かつ前記除去空隙の下の前記レーザ彫刻可能ポリカーボネートを炭化するように、前記オーバーレイがレーザ彫刻される、請求項5に記載のオーバーレイ。
- 前記除去空隙またはこれに近接する領域が、英数字パターン、顔面像、指紋像、バーコード、およびロゴの少なくとも一部分を形成する、請求項6に記載のオーバーレイ。
- 前記反射増強コーティングが、HRI層または部分HRI層を備える、請求項1に記載のオーバーレイ。
- 前記ポリカーボネート基板が、レーザ彫刻可能ポリカーボネートを備える、請求項1に記載のオーバーレイ。
- 前記反射増強コーティング上に保護層をさらに備える、請求項1に記載のオーバーレイ。
- 前記ポリカーボネート基板の前記第2の面が、前記適合表面への融着を改善するように処理されている、請求項1に記載のオーバーレイ。
- 前記反射増強コーティングが、カラー・シフティング・コーティングである、請求項1に記載のオーバーレイ。
- 前記回折構造が、成型ホログラムである、請求項1に記載のオーバーレイ。
- 前記オーバーレイが、間に接着剤の無い状態で物体に融着され、前記物体の前記適合表面が、ポリカーボネート表面、Teslin(登録商標)表面、PVC表面、PET表面、PETG表面、ポリスチレン表面、コーティングされた紙表面、または合成紙表面から成るグループから選ばれたものである、請求項1に記載のオーバーレイ。
- 前記物体が、レーザ彫刻可能ポリカーボネートを備える、請求項14に記載のオーバーレイ。
- 前記オーバーレイおよび前記物体が、前記物体の前記レーザ彫刻可能ポリカーボネートを選択的に炭化するようにレーザ彫刻される、請求項15に記載のオーバーレイ。
- 前記物体が、識別文書または取引カードである、請求項14に記載のオーバーレイ。
