Abstract

Claims (10)
- 主管と肘部管との間の接続を構造的に支持または代替する肘部クランプ組立体であって、
前記主管を貫通して延在可能なクランプボルト(16)によって接続される、対向する関係で前記主管の両側に固定可能な上部クランプ体(12)および下部クランプ体(14)と、
前記肘部管に固定可能な肘部ボス(17)と、
前記肘部管を貫通して延在可能であり、前記肘部ボスと前記クランプボルトとの間に接続される交差ボルト(19)と
を有する肘部クランプ組立体。 - 前記上部クランプ体(12)は形状付けされた凹部(22)を有し、前記形状付けされた凹部は前記クランプボルト(16)と係合可能な相補的な形状付けされたクランプボルトナット(18)を収容し、前記形状付けされた凹部は前記クランプボルトナットの回転を防止することを特徴とする請求項1記載の肘部クランプ組立体。
- 前記下部クランプ体(14)は、前記クランプボルト(16)の頭部を収容するように形状付けされた機械加工された凹部、および、前記機械加工された凹部に隣接して配置される溝状凹部(26)を有し、前記肘部クランプ組立体は、前記溝状凹部に収容され、前記クランプボルトに対する予圧を保持するように前記クランプボルト頭部と係合可能なクランプボルト留め具(24)をさらに有することを特徴とする請求項2記載の肘部クランプ組立体。
- 前記クランプボルト頭部は、その外周のまわりにラチェット歯(36)を有し、前記ラチェット歯は、前記クランプボルト留め具が前記溝状凹部(26)に収容される場合、前記クランプボルト留め具(24)上の対応する歯(38)に係合することを特徴とする請求項3記載の肘部クランプ組立体。
- 前記対応する歯(38)および前記ラチェット歯(36)は、前記クランプボルト(16)の回転を、前記クランプボルトに対する予圧を増大する方向に制限するように構成されることを特徴とする請求項4記載の肘部クランプ組立体。
- 前記交差ボルト(19)は、前記交差ボルトの接続端部において、前記クランプボルト(16)に接続され、前記接続端部は流体流れ抵抗を最小とするように形状付けられることを特徴とする請求項1記載の肘部クランプ組立体。
- 交差ボルトナット留め具(42)が前記肘部ボス(17)に固定され、前記交差ボルトは前記肘部ボスと前記クランプボルト(16)との間に交差ボルトナット(40)によって固定され、前記交差ボルトナットは前記交差ボルトナット留め具に収容され、前記交差ボルトナットおよび前記交差ボルトナット留め具は、前記交差ボルトに対する予圧を保持するのに役立つ締付構造を含むことを特徴とする請求項1記載の肘部クランプ組立体。
- 前記クランプボルト(16)は、前記交差ボルト(19)が接する直径拡大部分(28)を有することを特徴とする請求項1記載の肘部クランプ組立体。
- 主管と肘部管との間の接続を構造的に支持または代替する肘部クランプ組立体であって、
前記主管を貫通して延在可能なクランプボルト(16)によって接続される、対向する関係で前記主管の両側に固定可能な上部クランプ体(12)および下部クランプ体(14)と、
前記上部および下部クランプ体の1つと連結され、前記クランプボルトの頭部に係合可能な締付機構(24)と、
前記肘部管に固定可能な肘部ボス(17)と、
前記肘部管を貫通して延在可能であり、前記肘部ボスと前記クランプボルトとの間で接続される交差ボルト(19)と、
前記肘部ボスに取り付けられる固定機構(42)であって、前記交差ボルトの頭部と係合可能な固定機構と
を有する肘部クランプ組立体。 - 肘部クランプ組立体を使用して、主管と肘部管との間の接続を構造的に支持または代替する方法であって、前記肘部クランプ組立体が、上部クランプ体(12)および下部クランプ体(14)と、前記肘部管に固定可能な肘部ボス(17)と、前記肘部ボスとクランプボルト(16)との間に接続される交差ボルト(19)とを有し、
接合範囲において前記主管および前記肘部管を貫通する第1の開口(44)を形成するステップと、
対向する関係で前記主管の両側に前記上部クランプ体および前記下部クランプ体を固定するステップと、
前記第1の開口を貫通して延在可能な前記クランプボルト(16)によって前記上部および下部クランプ体を接続するステップと、
前記肘部管を貫通する第2の開口(46)を形成するステップと、
前記第2の開口を貫通して前記交差ボルトを延在させ、前記交差ボルトを前記クランプボルトに接続することによって、前記肘部管に前記肘部ボスを固定するステップと
を含む方法。
