Abstract
【解決手段】光電気複合型コネクタであって、光電変換部を有するプラグユニットと、プラグユニットと着脱自在とされたレセプタクルユニットとを備える。プラグユニットは、溝部を備えたファイバ固定部材を有し、光電変換部に接続された光ファイバケーブルは溝部に接着剤によって固定される。

Description
このように、屈曲部を介して光ファイバケーブルを設置した場合、光ファイバケーブルの外被と屈曲動作をするための機械部品の表面とが接触し、繰り返しの屈曲動作によって光ファイバケーブルの外被が摩耗によって擦れ、破損してしまうおそれがあることから、光ファイバケーブル、特にその外被には、屈曲性や他部品との接触摩擦に耐え得る摺動性が要求される。このような状況に適した外被材としてフッ素樹脂が考えられる。フッ素樹脂は、低い表面エネルギーを有し、耐磨耗性に優れるからである。

Claims (7)
- 光電気複合型コネクタであって、光電変換部を有するプラグユニットと、該プラグユニットと着脱自在とされたレセプタクルユニットとを備え、
前記プラグユニットは、溝部を備えたファイバ固定部材を有し、前記光電変換部に接続された光ファイバケーブルは前記溝部に接着剤によって固定されることを特徴とする光電気複合型コネクタ。 - 前記光ファイバケーブルの外被材は、ポリフッ化ビニルデン、又は、フッ素系樹脂である請求項1に記載のコネクタ。
- 前記光電変換部は、光から電気、及び、電気から光への変換を行う請求項1又は2に記載のコネクタ。
- 前記溝部は、射出成形が可能な樹脂で形成されている請求項1乃至3のいずれかに記載のコネクタ。
- 前記溝部へのアクセスを許す開口部は、前記レセプタクルユニット側に向けられる請求項1乃至4のいずれかに記載のコネクタ。
- 前記接着剤は、熱硬化型エポキシ接着剤、又は、シアノアクリレート系瞬間接着剤である請求項1乃至5のいずれかに記載のコネクタ。
- 前記プラグユニットは、導電性部材で覆われている請求項1乃至6のいずれかに記載のコネクタ。
