Description
1)軸上画像品質の損失を最小にするために、コーティングされていない基準フィルムに対する光学利得は、少なくとも90%であることが好ましい(図5の点504)。
2)軸外輝度を大幅に改善するために、水平走査方向の60度及び垂直走査方向の40度における軸外利得改善は、基準フィルムの少なくとも130%であることが好ましい(それぞれ点503及び点505)。
3)角度位置の僅かな変化の結果として認識される輝度損失を最小にするために、角度の関数としての輝度利得の変化(一次導関数の絶対値)は、水平走査方向の軸外+/−60度及び垂直走査方向の+/−40度の角度まで、水平及び垂直走査方向において、それぞれ0.08cd/m2/度及び0.08cd/m2/度以下である。

Claims (10)
- 光源及び光方向転換ポリマーフィルムを備え、前記フィルムが該フィルムの少なくとも一面に構造化表面を含み、該構造化表面の少なくとも一部にポリマーコーティングを有するディスプレーであって、前記コーティングが可変厚さを示すディスプレー。
- 前記ポリマーフィルムが、前記フィルムの反対側に構造化表面を有する、請求項1記載のディスプレー。
- 前記ポリマーコーティングの最大厚さが、0.7から5.0マイクロメートルである、請求項1記載のディスプレー。
- 前記可変厚さが、前記ポリマーコーティングの最大厚さの少なくとも50%の厚さ範囲を有する、請求項1記載のディスプレー。
- 前記可変厚さが、前記構造化表面上で単調に増加または減少している、請求項1記載のディスプレー。
- 前記ポリマーコーティングが、ポリウレタン、ポリビニルアルコール、アクリルおよびPVP樹脂からなる群から選択される、請求項1記載のディスプレー。
- 前記ポリマーコーティングが、パターンの形で前記ポリマーフィルム上に存在する、請求項1記載のディスプレー。
- 前記ポリマーコーティングが、パターンの形で前記構造化表面上に存在する、請求項1記載のディスプレー。
- 前記ポリマーコーティングが、前記ポリマーコーティングと前記ポリマービーズとの間に0.02から0.50の屈折率差を有するポリマービーズをさらに含む、請求項1記載のディスプレー。
- 光源と、少なくとも一面に構造化表面を有する光方向転換ポリマーフィルムとを備えるディスプレーであって、前記ポリマーフィルムが、水平方向に0.03から0.09の最大一次導関数を有し、垂直方向に0.04から0.09の最大一次導関数を有するディスプレー。
