Abstract
Description
(撥油性)
撥油性格付けは、米国繊維化学者・色彩技術者協会(AATCC)の標準試験方法118−2002に従って測定された。撥油性は、異なる表面張力の炭化水素液体の滴を布上に置き、次に表面湿潤の程度を目視測定することによって試験された。この試験は、仕上げ布がいかに良く有機液体による油状汚れおよび湿潤に耐性があるかを測定する。一般に、撥油性格付けが高ければ高いほど、仕上げ布の油状物質による汚染に対する耐性はより良好である。標準試験液は表2にリストされる。
AATCC防汚格付けは、米国繊維化学者・色彩技術者協会(AATCC)の標準試験方法130−2000に従って測定された。布サンプルは、滑らかな水平面上の新しいAATCC織物吸取紙(Textile Blotting Paper)上に平らに置かれた。5滴(0.2ミリリットル合計)のマゾーラ(MAZOLA)(登録商標)コーン油(Corn Oil)(ACHフード・カンパニーズ社(ACH Food Companies Inc.))が布表面上に置かれて単一点を生み出した。グラシン紙のシートが油溜まりの一面に置かれ、2.27kg(5ポンド)重りが次にグラシン紙の一面に直接60秒間置かれた。重りおよびグラシン紙が取り除かれ、布サンプルは次に、100グラムのAATCC1993標準対照洗剤(AATCC 1993 Standard Reference Detergent)WOBを使用してケンモア(KENMORE)(登録商標)自動機で高い水レベルの通常洗濯サイクルで12分間洗濯された。洗濯温度は60℃であり、リンス温度は冷たかった。負荷の総重量は4ポンドであった。最終回転サイクルの後、全体負荷はケンモア(登録商標)自動乾燥機に入れられ、高いで45〜50分間乾燥された。
本発明の糸の吸湿性は、垂直吸い上げ試験または水平吸い上げ試験によってなど、公知の方法によって測定される。垂直吸い上げ試験は、糸をチューブへ編み、次にチューブを任意の所望の試剤でこすり洗いするか処理するかのいずれかを行い、処理チューブを風乾させることによって行われてもよい。チューブは次に1インチ(25.4mm)幅、約8インチ(203mm)長さのストリップへカットされ、3インチ(75mm)が水中にそして5インチ(125mm)が水の上方にある状態で水の上方に垂直に吊される。ストリップの上方へ吸い上げられている水の高さの観察は、1分、5分、10分、20分および30分などの、所定の時間に目視により行われる。
%owfFとして表される、フッ素についての布の重量基準パーセントは次の通り測定される。ここでFFABとして表される布基準フッ素は、百万当たりの部(ppm)単位で周知のウィックボルド(Wickbold)トーチ法によって測定される。この値は次に、FFCとして表されるフルオロケミカル中のフッ素の重量パーセントで割られて当該フルオロケミカルについて布の重量基準のフッ素パーセントを得る:

2つ以上のフルオロケミカルが使用されるとき、布の重量基準の全フッ素パーセントは、使用されるすべてのフルオロケミカルについて布の重量基準の個別のフッ素パーセント値を合計することによって得られる。
「ラボ−ライン(Lab−Line)」抽出ミキサーを用いて、1リットル(L)の室温脱イオン(DI)水中のデュポン標準乾燥汚物(DuPont Standard Dry Soil)の1%または2%分散液を調製すること。布サンプル75mm×75mm(3インチ×3インチ)をカットすること。汚物液を分液漏斗に加え、布サンプルを、漏斗当たり6サンプル以下で漏斗中に入れること。20サイクル毎分の設定で15秒間かき混ぜること。汚物液を1Lビーカーへ水抜きし、捨てること。漏斗の側面上の残留汚物を除去するために脱イオン(DI)水で漏斗をリンスし、水抜きすること。1Lの40℃のDI水を分液漏斗に加えること。2.1グラムのタイド(TIDE)(登録商標)フリー(Free)粉洗剤を加えること。20サイクル毎分の速度設定で15分間かき混ぜること。洗濯水を1Lビーカーへ水抜きし、捨てること。1Lの40℃のDI水を漏斗に加え、20サイクル毎分の速度設定で10分間かき混ぜること。リンス水を水抜きし、捨てること。1Lの室温DI水を加え、20サイクル毎分の速度設定で10分間かき混ぜること。リンス水を水抜きし、捨てること。サンプルを取り出し、圧搾して過剰水を除去すること。最低8時間かまたは乾燥するまで風乾させること。サンプルを、グレー・スケール(Gray Scale)、AATCC評価手順2(Evaluation Procedure 2)によって格付けすること。
Claims (4)
- 少なくとも50%のポリエステル糸を含む処理された衣類であって、前記糸が型取りされた個別のフィラメント断面を有するフィラメントを含み、前記衣類がフッ素含有耐久性防汚組成物で処理され、少なくとも75ミリメートルの吸い上げ高さおよび少なくとも3の汚物再付着格付けを有することを特徴とする処理された衣類。
- 天然綿ならびに合成ポリマー繊維:ポリエステル、ポリアミドおよびスパンデックス糸から選択された型取りされていない個別のフィラメントを含む糸から選択された残りの糸を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の処理された衣類。
- ソックスを含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の処理された衣類。
- 型取りされた個別のフィラメント断面を有するフィラメントを含む少なくとも50%のポリエステル・マルチフィラメント糸を含む衣類の処理方法であって、
衣類の重量を基準として5%より多く、かつ50対1未満の衣類対浴液比で、水性吸尽浴のフッ素含有耐久性防汚処理剤を付着させる工程と、
リンスすることなく浴液を滴落させる工程と、
前記衣類を回転式乾燥機で乾燥させる工程と、
型付けされる前記衣類を110℃〜190℃の温度で約60〜約90秒の時間にわたって個別に硬化させる工程と
を含むことを特徴とする方法。
