Claims (10)
- 押出ダイスを通してポリマービレットを圧縮することにより、配向性のあるポリマープロファイルを生成する、固体状態の押出配向工法であって、前記ポリマービレットは、結晶又は半結晶ポリマーを備えているビレット、及びポリマー及び有機又は無機のフィラーを含んだ複合材料を備えるビレットのうちの1つであり、前記工程は、
圧力室をポリマーの融点又はそれ以下の温度まで予熱するステップと;
前記圧力室と連続して位置決めされ、前記圧力室よりもより小さな断面積を有している押出ダイスに超音波を照射するステップと;
前記圧力室及び前記押出ダイスを通じて前記ポリマービレットを押出し、配向性のあるポリマープロファイルを製造するステップと、を備える工法。 - 前記ポリマーは、分子の直鎖を有している熱可塑性ポリマーであり、前記フィラーは木材の粉末、木材の繊維、アルミナ、シリカ、及びタルクのうちの1つであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の工法。
- 前記圧力室は、前記ポリマービレットを前記ポリマーの融点の0.6〜0.9倍の範囲の温度に加熱することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の工法。
- 前記押出ダイスは、押出し方向に徐々に断面積が減少するような、テーパ状をなす構造を有し、前記ポリマービレットが前記押出ダイスに挿入される際、前記ポリマービレットと小さな内径を有する前記押出ダイスとの間の摩擦を最小化することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の工法。
- 前記押出ダイスは、前記ポリマービレットの断面積の0.3〜0.5倍の断面積を有していることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の工法。
- 前記超音波は、1〜100kHzの周波数で押出ダイスに照射されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の工法。
- 温度上昇を可能とするとともに、押出ダイスに向かってポリマービレットを押す力を供給するように構成された圧力室と;
前記圧力室と連続して位置決めされ、前記圧力室の断面積よりも小さな断面積を有する前記押出ダイスと;
前記押出ダイスに超音波を照射するための超音波照射ユニットと、を備えている請求項1に記載の工法を実施するための圧縮引張配向装置。 - 前記押出ダイスは4〜10の延伸比を有していることを特徴とする請求項7に記載の装置。
- 前記超音波照射ユニットは、前記押出ダイスの内側又は外側に設置されていることを特徴とする請求項7に記載の装置。
- 前記超音波照射ユニットは、前記超音波の周波数及び振幅を制御可能な制御器を備えていることを特徴とする請求項7に記載の装置。
