Abstract
Description
傾斜したコイルバネは螺旋状の溝内に位置し、プラグに対する電気的接続を提供すると共に、ボア内でプラグを保持するために、螺旋状の溝から突出する。
本発明の利点及び特徴は、添付図面に関連して考察した場合に、以下の説明により良好に理解できるであろう。
図2に一層明瞭に示すように、バネ34はボア18を取り囲む接続ラグに溶接された長さ52を有し、ラグは本体20の外部へ延びるワイヤセグメント56を有する。
代わりに、図5、6に示すように、本発明に係る実施の形態70はテーパ状の底部76を備えた螺旋状の溝74を有する本体72を含むことができる。
Claims (18)
- 雌型電気コネクタにおいて、
電気プラグを受け入れるための貫通ボアを備えた本体と;
上記ボア内に形成された螺旋状の溝と;
上記螺旋状の溝内に位置し、上記プラグへの電気的接続及び上記ボア内での当該プラグの保持の双方を提供するように当該螺旋状の溝から突出する傾斜したコイルバネと;
上記本体内に埋設され、上記ボアを取り囲み、上記バネと相互接続し、当該本体の外部へ延びるワイヤセグメントを有する接続ラグと;
を有することを特徴とするコネクタ。 - 上記本体が非導電性材料から形成されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のコネクタ。
- 上記溝が平坦な底部を備えた溝であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のコネクタ。
- 上記傾斜したコイルバネが軸方向の傾斜したコイルバネであることを特徴とする請求項3に記載のコネクタ。
- 上記傾斜したコイルバネが半径方向の傾斜したコイルバネであることを特徴とする請求項3に記載のコネクタ。
- 上記溝がV字状の底部を備えた溝であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のコネクタ。
- 上記バネが軸方向の傾斜したコイルバネであることを特徴とする請求項6に記載のコネクタ。
- 上記バネが半径方向の傾斜したコイルバネであることを特徴とする請求項6に記載のコネクタ。
- 上記溝がテーパ状の底部を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のコネクタ。
- 上記バネが軸方向の傾斜したコイルバネであることを特徴とする請求項9に記載のコネクタ。
- 上記バネが半径方向の傾斜したコイルバネであることを特徴とする請求項9に記載のコネクタ。
- 雌型電気コネクタにおいて、
電気プラグを受け入れるための貫通ボアを備えた本体と;
上記ボア内に形成された螺旋状の溝と;
上記螺旋状の溝内に位置し、上記プラグへの電気的接続及び上記ボア内での当該プラグの保持の双方を提供するように当該螺旋状の溝から突出する傾斜したコイルバネと;
上記本体上に位置し、上記ボアを取り囲み、上記バネと相互接続し、当該本体の外部へ延びるワイヤセグメントを有する接続ラグと;
を有することを特徴とするコネクタ。 - 上記接続ラグが上記本体の端部上に位置することを特徴とする請求項13に記載のコネクタ。
- 上記接続ラグが当該ラグを上記本体に取り付けるように当該本体内に埋設された端部を有することを特徴とする請求項14に記載のコネクタ。
- 上記バネと上記ラグとの間の相互接続が上記本体内及び当該ラグの内側表面上で行われることを特徴とする請求項15に記載のコネクタ。
- 上記ボアが円形の横断面を有することを特徴とする請求項13に記載のコネクタ。
- 上記バネと上記ラグとの間の相互接続が溶接により行われることを特徴とする請求項13に記載のコネクタ。
- 電気プラグへの電気的接続を提供する方法において、
電気プラグを受け入れるための貫通ボアを備えた本体と;上記ボア内に形成された螺旋状の溝と;上記螺旋状の溝内に位置し、上記プラグへの電気的接続及び上記ボア内での当該プラグの保持の双方を提供するように当該螺旋状の溝から突出する傾斜したコイルバネと;上記本体内に埋設され、上記ボアを取り囲み、上記バネと相互接続し、当該本体の外部へ延びるワイヤセグメントを有する接続ラグと;を有する雌型電気コネクタを提供する工程と;
上記プラグを上記ボア内に挿入する工程と;
を有し、上記バネが上記プラグを上記ボア内に保持し、当該プラグとの電気的接続を提供することを特徴とする方法。
