Claims (12)
- 部品(2)に対して逆方向動作による危険性を招く機械加工作業を行う工具(7B)であって、前記工具(7B)が、後面(25)と共にすくい面(22)と逃げ面(23)との間の接合部のところに位置した切れ刃(24)を有する、工具において、前記すくい面(22)は、前記機械加工作業中に前記部品(2)と前記工具(7B)の相対運動の方向(29,30)に対して実質的に横断方向に配置されるようになった前側フェーセット(26)と、前記前側フェーセット(26)と前記逃げ面(23)との間に設けられた傾斜フェーセット(27)とを有し、前記切れ刃(24)は、前記すくい面(22)の前記傾斜フェーセット(27)と前記逃げ面(23)との間の接合部のところに位置している、工具。
- 前記傾斜フェーセット(27)は、前記前側フェーセット(26)の平面に投影された高さが、1マイクロメートル〜20マイクロメートルのオーダである、請求項1記載の工具。
- 前記切れ刃(24)は、少なくとも一部が円錐形の幾何学的輪郭に沿って延びている、請求項1又は2記載の工具。
- 前記切れ刃(24)は、前記相対運動方向(29,30)に対して直角の平面内で円弧の輪郭に沿って延びている、請求項1〜3のうちいずれか一に記載の工具。
- 前記前側フェーセット(26)の平面に投影された前記傾斜フェーセット(27)の前記高さと前記工具(7B)の設計上のパスの深さの比は、約20%以下である、請求項1〜4のうちいずれか一に記載の工具。
- 前記切れ刃(24)は、前記前側フェーセット(26)と前記後面(25)との間に設けられている、請求項1〜5のうちいずれか一に記載の工具。
- 前記切れ刃(24)は、前記後面(25)よりも前記前側フェーセット(26)の方に近く位置する、請求項6記載の工具。
- 前記逃げ面(23)と前記運動方向のなす角度は、前記傾斜フェーセット(27)と前記運動方向のなす角度に実質的に等しい、請求項1〜7のうちいずれか一に記載の工具。
- 前記工具は、多結晶ダイヤモンドで作られている、請求項1〜8のうちいずれか一に記載の工具。
- 前記工具は、単結晶ダイヤモンドで作られている、請求項1〜8のうちいずれか一に記載の工具。
- 請求項1〜10のうちいずれか一に記載の機械加工工具(7B)の位置を部品(2)に回転軸線(4)に対して非対称の表面を機械加工するよう前記回転軸線(4)回りに回転駆動される前記部品(2)の角度位置と同期させるようになった機械加工機械。
- 前記機械は、0.01ミリメートル〜10ミリメートルのオーダのパスの深さで前記部品(2)を機械加工するようになっている、請求項11記載の機械。
