Claims (21)
- 本体と一対のカバーとを備え、前記カバーが本体上で軸方向にスライドすることができ、熱交換体受け入れ区画室を前記本体に有する、ハウジングと、
前記本体内に配置されたヒータアセンブリと、
前記ヒータアセンブリの伝熱面と接触した状態で前記本体の前記区画室内に取り外し可能に配置することができ、流体入力ポートから流体出力ポートへの流体流れラインを収容する熱交換体と、
を備え、
前記カバーが、当該カバーが熱交換器をヒータアセンブリとの熱交換伝達状態へと押圧する閉位置に向けて本体上で軸方向にスライドできる、流体加温装置。 - 前記カバーが、閉位置で前記熱交換体の縁部と接触して、熱交換体の中央部を見える状態のまま残す請求項1に記載の流体加温装置。
- 前記カバーが開位置へ向けてスライドすることができ、この開位置から、前記熱交換体を前記本体の区画室から取り外すことができ或いは前記区画室内に挿入することができる請求項1に記載の流体加温装置。
- 前記熱交換体が、IVチューブに取り付けられたまま、前記区画室から取り外すことができ或いは前記区画室内に挿入することができる請求項3に記載の流体加温装置。
- 前記カバーが、前記熱交換体との摩擦係合によって閉位置に保持される請求項1に記載の流体加温装置。
- 前記カバーが、当該カバーが前記熱交換体を前記本体の区画室内に依然として保持する半閉位置へとスライドできる請求項1に記載の流体加温装置。
- 前記カバーが、当該カバーが閉位置にあるときに前記ヒータアセンブリの電源を作動させるためのスイッチを含んでいる請求項1に記載の流体加温装置。
- 前記熱交換体が視覚インジケータを含み、前記カバーが、閉位置にあるときに前記視覚インジケータを遮らない請求項1に記載の流体加温装置。
- 前記カバーが、前記ハウジングの前記本体の長手方向トラック上でスライドできる請求項1に記載の流体加温装置。
- 前記熱交換体を通じた流体の流れを見ることができる請求項1に記載の流体加温装置。
- 前記カバーが、完全閉位置と開位置との間で反対方向にスライドできる請求項1に記載の流体加温装置。
- 前記カバーを前記本体から完全に取り外すことができる請求項1に記載の流体加温装置。
- 前記カバーが保持機構によって前記本体上に保持される請求項1に記載の流体加温装置。
- 前記保持機構が、前記カバーおよび前記本体上に相補的なラッチ面を備えている請求項13に記載の流体加温装置。
- 患者へと向かうIVチューブを通じた熱損失を最小限に抑えるための流体加温システムであって、
a)IV流体加温装置の熱交換体にわたる温度降下を決定するステップと、
b)前記IV流体加温装置から患者へと延びるIVチューブの環境に対する温度降下を決定するステップと、
c)前記IVチューブに沿う温度降下が決定された温度限度よりも大きいかどうかを決定するステップと、
d)前記IVチューブに沿う前記熱交換体にわたる全体の温度降下が決定された降下限度よりも大きいかどうかを決定するステップと、
e)前記ステップc)および前記ステップd)からの決定値がそれらの対応する限度よりも大きい場合に、実際の流体温度を、流体出力温度−降下限度として決定するステップと、
f)前記ステップc)および前記ステップd)からの決定値のいずれかがそれらの対応する限度よりも大きくない場合に、実際の流体温度を、流体出力温度−熱交換器温度降下として決定するステップと、
g)熱交換器への電力を調整して、所望の出力温度を得るステップと、
を備える流体加温システム。 - 前記ステップa)での熱交換器にわたる温度降下が、前記熱交換体を加熱するヒータアセンブリのヒータ電力をヒータアセンブリの熱抵抗で割ることにより決定される請求項15に記載の流体加温システム。
- 前記ステップb)でのIVチューブの温度降下が、流体目標温度と大気温度との間の差を決定し、この差に放射損失定数を掛け合わして結果を得るとともに、その結果を前記熱交換体を加熱するヒータアセンブリのヒータ電力で割ることにより決定される請求項15に記載の流体加温システム。
- 前記ステップc)の決定された温度限度が1℃である請求項15に記載の流体加温システム。
- 前記ステップd)の決定された降下限度が、IV流体が加熱され得る最大温度である請求項15に記載の流体加温システム。
- 前記最大温度が所望温度よりも3度高い請求項19に記載の流体加温システム。
- 前記流体出力温度がIV流体加温装置上の温度センサによって測定される請求項15に記載の流体加温システム。
