Abstract
【解決手段】レゾネータ1は、首部10を介して吸気ダクト4に連通する主容積室12と、主容積室12に直接接続された細長い副容積室13と、を備えたレゾネータ本体部11を有し、主容積室12の容積と副容積室13の容積との和であるレゾネータ本体部11の容積に応じて共鳴周波数が決定されるヘルムホルツ型レゾネータの機能と、副容積室13の長手方向に沿った長さに応じて共鳴周波数が決定されるサイドブランチ型レゾネータの機能と、を併せ持つ。これによって、レゾネータ1は、レゾネータ本体部11の構成を複雑にすることなく、2つの共鳴周波数を得ることができ、総じて製造コストを低減することができる。

Claims (3)
- 首部を介して車両用内燃機関の吸気ダクトに連通する1つ主容積室と、上記主容積室に直接接続された少なくとも1つ以上の細長い副容積室と、を備えたレゾネータ本体部を有し、
上記主容積室の容積と上記副容積室の容積との和であるレゾネータ本体部の容積に応じて共鳴周波数が決定されるヘルムホルツ型レゾネータの機能と、上記副容積室の長手方向に沿った長さに応じて共鳴周波数が決定されるサイドブランチ型レゾネータの機能と、を併せ持つことを特徴とするレゾネータ。 - 上記レゾネータ本体部は、主容積室に1つの副容積室が接続され、全体としてL字形状を呈し、上記副容積室の長手方向と車両幅方向とが一致し、車両フロントの前面で車両前方に向かって開口する上記吸気ダクトの吸気取入口と隣接し、かつ上記副容積室が車両フロントの前面に沿って位置するように配置され、
上記副容積室には、車両の幅方向中央位置を基準として、上記吸気取入口と対称となる位置に、車両前面視における上記吸気取入口と略同一外形状の擬似吸気取入口が設けられていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のレゾネータ。 - 上記吸気ダクトに接続されたサイドブランチ型の第2レゾネータが、上記レゾネータ本体部に沿って、上記レゾネータ本体部と一体に形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載のレゾネータ。
