Abstract
【解決手段】ゴム成分、粘着付与剤、充填剤及び有機過酸化物を必須成分として配合した缶蓋用シーリングコンパウンドを用いて内容物充填後の高温殺菌時に架橋反応を生起させる。
Description
これらの充填剤の配合量はゴム成分100重量部に対して10〜150重量部が好ましい。
本発明の缶蓋用シーリングコンパウンドには適宜他の添加剤も配合することができる。
次に、本発明のシーリングコンパウンドを用いる缶詰の製造工程について述べる。
この加熱処理の典型例はレトルト殺菌処理であり、100℃以上の高温処理が行われる。この段階では巻締内部は密閉状態にあって酸素(空気)から遮断された状態で高温下であることからはじめて架橋反応が生起する。
次に実施例に基づいて本発明を例証する。
SBRラテックス(ゲル分55%、ムーニー粘度34、固形分50%)を使用し、充填剤としてシリカ25重量部、カオリン25重量部、二酸化チタン10重量部、着色剤としてカーボン0.4重量部、分散剤としてナフタリンスルホン酸ホルマリン縮合のナトリウム塩0.2重量部と水をボールミルにて分散粉砕して固形分48%の分散液を得た。これらの分散液と、水素添加ロジンアンモニウム塩水溶液25%のものを安定剤として及び粘着付与剤として、また有機過酸化物としてジクミルパーオキサイド(日本油脂化学製、パークミルD)を0.1〜50重慮部の範囲でそれぞれの重量部数、水素添加ロジンエステルに溶解してこれらの溶解及び分散液を撹拌分散した。これにより得られた分散液をメチルセルロース水溶液にてノズルライニングに適する様粘度調整剤として使用しBH粘度6,000〜7,000mPa・s(20rpm,25℃)、固形分39〜40%の懸濁分散水溶液を得た。上記の水系コンパウンドをレシプロライナー(Grace社製、#251iner)でTin Free Steel蓋に塗布し90℃×10分間空気循環式オーブンで加熱乾燥した。小型飲料缶(190ml)を使用し、実験用巻締機を使用し内容物(沸騰水)をそれぞれの巻締寸法条件にて充填後、巻締を行った。その後、125℃×30分間のレトルト殺菌を行った。(実施例、比較例共に同じ方法)
Claims (9)
- ゴム成分、粘着付与剤、充填剤及び有機過酸化物を必須成分として配合したことを特徴とする缶蓋用シーリングコンパウンド。
- ゴム成分100重量部当りの有機過酸化物の配合量が0.1〜10重量部である請求項1記載の缶蓋用シーリングコンパウンド。
- 粘着付与剤がロジン系樹脂、テルペン系樹脂及び石油炭化水素系樹脂から選ばれた少なくとも1種であり、粘着付与剤の配合量がゴム成分100重量部に対して10〜100重量部である請求項1又は2の缶蓋用シーリングコンパウンド。
- 充填剤がシリカ、クレー、酸化チタン及びタルクから選ばれた少なくとも1種であり、充填剤の配合量がゴム成分100重量部に対して5〜150重量部である請求項1〜3のいずれか1項記載の缶蓋用シーリングコンパウンド。
- 有機過酸化物がアルキルパーオキサイドである請求項1〜4のいずれか1項記載の缶蓋用シーリングコンパウンド。
- ゴム成分がスチレン・ブタジエンゴムである請求項1〜5のいずれか1項記載の缶蓋用シーリングコンパウンド。
- スチレン・ブタジエンゴムのゲル分が0〜70重量%、ムーニー粘度が30〜150(ML1+4,100℃)、スチレン含有量が20〜50重量%である請求項6記載の缶蓋用シーリングコンパウンド。
- カール部をもつ缶蓋のカール部に請求項1〜7のいずれか1項記載の缶蓋用シーリングコンパウンドの水性分散液又は有機溶剤溶液を塗布し乾燥して実質的な無架橋の組成物とした後、該缶蓋を、内容物を充填した缶胴上に置き、缶胴のフランジ部と缶蓋のカール部を巻締して缶を密封し、得られた内容物入り密封缶を加熱処理して殺菌処理と組成物の架橋処理とを同時に行うことを特徴とする缶の密封方法。
- 有機過酸化物を相溶性のある粘着付与剤に溶解ないし分散させてから添加して塗布液を調製する請求項8記載の缶の密封方法。
