【解決手段】ラスタ化入力画像を受ける手段と;装置の構成要素とデータの授受を行えるマイクロプロセッサと;ラスタ化入力画像を蓄積するラスタ・プレーンとしてのメモリ(32)と;ラスタ・プレーン内に含まれる画像データを、マップ・プレーン(65)としてのメモリに蓄積する画像データに変換する変換手段(61)と;マップ・プレーンに蓄積された画像データのヒストグラムを作成するヒストグラム収集器と;マップ・プレーンのピクセル輝度がヒストグラム内に略均等に分布するようにヒストグラム特性を調整するヒストグラム均等化関数手段(201)とを具えている。

Claims (2)
- オシロスコープに表示する画像用に形成するヒストグラムを作成し連続的に調整する装置であって、
ラスタ化入力画像を受ける手段と、
上記装置の構成要素とデータの授受を行うマイクロプロセッサと、
上記ラスタ化入力画像を蓄積するラスタ・プレーンとしてのメモリと、
上記ラスタ・プレーン内に含まれる画像データを、マップ・プレーンとしてのメモリに蓄積する画像データに変換する変換手段と、
上記マップ・プレーンに蓄積された画像データのヒストグラムを作成するヒストグラム収集器と、
上記マップ・プレーンのピクセル輝度が上記ヒストグラム内に略均等に分布するようにヒストグラム特性を調整するヒストグラム均等化関数手段と
を具えたヒストグラム調整装置。 - 複数のピクセル輝度ビンを更に具え、上記変換手段により、各ビンが略均等な数のマップ・プレーンのピクセルを含むことを特徴とする請求項1のヒストグラム調整装置。
