Description
(1)基材
各種プラスチックからなるフィルムであれば、特に限定されない。例えばポリオレフィン、ポリエステル等からなるフィルムが例示されるが、これらに限定されるものではない。取り扱い易さ、耐熱性、強度の面より好ましくはポリエチレンテレフタレートフィルム(以下PETと呼ぶ。)を用いるとよい。基材の厚みは、用途に応じて適宜選択すればよいが、通常12〜200μmの範囲のものを用いる。
シリコーン層に用いるシリコーンとしては、たとえば、付加重合型のシリコーン重合体を使用することができる。付加重合型シリコーン樹脂は白金触媒により重合するものを挙げることができる。シリコーン層の性状としては、ゴムのような柔軟性を持っていて被着体の表面の凸凹に対してもシリコーン層の面が凸凹に沿うことがもとめられる。さらに剥離の際には、小さい剥離力で、容易に剥離できることが求められる。
通常保護フィルムのシリコーン層面には、表面の汚れや異物付着から守るために樹脂フィルムならなるセパレータを貼り合わせている。保護フィルムの使用時にこのセパレータを剥がし、被着体に保護層を面して保護フィルムを貼り合せる。
未硬化シリコーンのセパレータへの移行量の測定は、微量であるため測量することが難しい。そこで代用特性として、シリコーン層面に接したセパレータ面にジエチレングリコールを滴下して、接触角を測定する。つまり、接触角が大きい程、セパレータに未硬化シリコーンが多く移行していると判断される。接触角計としては、協和界面科学(株)製のCA−D型を使用する。
易接着層の形成
基材として片面に印刷適性処理を施した厚さ50μmのPETの他の面に、下記の配合にて調合した塗液を、デスパーにて撹拌後、塗工、乾燥させ、厚み0.3μmの易接着層を形成した。
ポリエステル樹脂(東洋紡績製バイロン200、Tg67℃)12重量部、 トルエン88重量
シリコーン層の形成
易接着層の上に、下記のシリコーン塗液を塗布し、150℃の乾燥炉にて100秒加熱して、厚み25μmのシリコーン層を形成して、保護フィルムを作成した。
両末端のみビニル基を有する直鎖状ポリオルガノシリコーン 100重量部
(無溶剤型)(商品名「X-62−1347」信越化学工業(株)製)
白金触媒 (商品名「CAT−PL−56」信越化学工業(株)製) 2重量部

- 基材上にシリコーン層を設けた保護フィルムのセパレータにおいて、セパレータがコート紙であることを特徴とするセパレータ。
