【解決手段】本発明の画像形成装置は、所定の回転軸21を有する感光体ドラム2と、前記感光体ドラム2を露光することにより前記感光体ドラム2の表面に静電潜像を形成する露光装置6と、前記感光体ドラム2の表面に透明材料52を供給し、前記露光装置
6と前記感光体ドラム2との間に前記透明材料からなる層53を形成する
媒体供給手段5と、前記感光体ドラム2の表面に形成された静電潜像をトナー粒子を含む液体現像剤73によって現像する現像装置7と、を有する。

Claims (6)
- 所定の回転軸を有する感光体ドラムと、
前記感光体ドラムを露光することにより前記感光体ドラムの表面に静電潜像を形成する露光装置と、
前記感光体ドラムの表面に屈折率調整媒体を供給し、前記露光装置と前記感光体ドラムとの間に前記屈折率調整媒体からなる反射防止層を形成する媒体供給手段と、
前記感光体ドラムの表面に形成された静電潜像をトナー粒子を含む液体現像剤によって現像する現像装置と、を有することを特徴とする画像形成装置。 - 前記屈折率調整媒体は、前記液体現像剤に含まれるトナー粒子の分散媒と同じ溶媒であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の画像形成装置。
- 前記媒体供給手段は、前記感光体ドラムの回転方向に対して前記露光装置の上流側に設置されていることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の画像形成装置。
- 前記露光装置は、前記感光体ドラムの回転軸に沿って配列された複数の有機EL素子からなるラインヘッドと、前記ラインヘッドから放射される光を前記感光体ドラム上に結像させる複数のレンズ素子からなるレンズアレイと、を有することを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれかの項に記載の画像形成装置。
- 前記媒体供給手段は、前記感光体ドラムの回転軸に沿って配置されたスリット状の噴射口を有する噴射装置であることを特徴とする請求項1〜4のいずれかの項に記載の画像形成装置。
- 前記媒体供給手段による前記屈折率調整媒体の供給動作を、前記感光体ドラムの回転動作及び前記露光装置の露光動作と連動させて制御する制御装置を有することを特徴とする請求項1〜5のいずれかの項に記載の画像形成装置。
