Abstract
【解決手段】白色光を放出できるような配置構造にLEDが配置された基板を有する光源部;交流電圧を直流電圧に変換する交流−直流変換部と、交流−直流変換部で変換された直流電圧を、赤色LEDアレイを駆動するのに適切な大きさの直流電圧に変換する赤色LED用直流−直流変換部と、緑色LEDアレイを駆動するのに適切な大きさの直流電圧に変換する緑色LED用直流−直流変換部と、青色LEDアレイを駆動するのに適切な大きさの直流電圧に変換する青色LED用直流−直流変換部とを有するSMPS部;及び、赤色、緑色、青色LEDが一定の出力を維持するように、赤色、緑色、青色LEDアレイに流れる電流を制御する少なくとも1つの赤色、緑色、青色LED用定電流制御部を有する制御ボード部;を備えてなる、LEDを備えたLCDバックライトの駆動システムを提供する。

Description
図1は、従来のLEDを備えたLCDバックライトの駆動システムを示す構成図である。
赤色光を発光する複数の赤色LEDが直列連結された少なくとも1つの赤色LEDアレイ、緑色光を発光する複数の緑色LEDが直列連結された少なくとも1つの緑色LEDアレイ、青色光を発光する複数の青色LEDが直列連結された少なくとも1つの青色LEDアレイ、及びこれらのLEDから放出される光が混合されて白色光を放出できるような配置構造に前記赤色、緑色、青色LEDアレイが配置された基板を有する光源部と、
外部から入力された交流電圧を、直流電圧に変換する交流−直流変換部、前記交流−直流変換部で変換された直流電圧を、前記赤色LEDアレイを駆動するのに適切な大きさの直流電圧に変換する赤色LED用直流−直流変換部、前記交流−直流変換部で変換された直流電圧を、前記緑色LEDアレイを駆動するのに適切な大きさの直流電圧に変換する緑色LED用直流−直流変換部、及び前記交流−直流変換部で変換された直流電圧を、前記青色LEDアレイを駆動するのに適切な大きさの直流電圧に変換する青色LED用直流−直流変換部を有するSMPS部と、
前記赤色、緑色、青色LEDが一定の出力を維持するように前記赤色、緑色、青色LEDアレイに流れる電流を制御する少なくとも1つの赤色、緑色、青色LED用定電流制御部を有する制御ボード部と、
を備える、LEDを備えたLCDバックライトの駆動システムを提供する。

Claims (4)
- 赤色光を発光する複数の赤色LEDが直列連結された少なくとも1つの赤色LEDアレイ、緑色光を発光する複数の緑色LEDが直列連結された少なくとも1つの緑色LEDアレイ、青色光を発光する複数の青色LEDが直列連結された少なくとも1つの青色LEDアレイ、及びこれらのLEDから放出される光が混合されて白色光を放出できるような配置構造に前記赤色、緑色、青色LEDアレイが配置された基板を有する光源部と、
外部から入力された交流電圧を直流電圧に変換する交流−直流変換部、前記交流−直流変換部で変換された直流電圧を、前記赤色LEDアレイを駆動するのに適切な大きさの直流電圧に変換する赤色LED用直流−直流変換部、前記交流−直流変換部で変換された直流電圧を、前記緑色LEDアレイを駆動するのに適切な大きさの直流電圧に変換する緑色LED用直流−直流変換部、及び前記交流−直流変換部で変換された直流電圧を、前記青色LEDアレイを駆動するのに適切な大きさの直流電圧に変換する青色LED用直流−直流変換部を有するSMPS部と、
前記赤色、緑色、青色LEDが一定の出力を維持するように前記赤色、緑色、青色LEDアレイに流れる電流を制御する少なくとも1つの赤色、緑色、青色LED用定電流制御部を有する制御ボード部と、
を備える、LEDを備えたLCDバックライトの駆動システム。 - 前記LCDバックライトの駆動システムは、前記光源部から放出される光の輝度及び/または色を検出するセンサー部をさらに備え、
前記制御ボード部は、前記センサー部より検出された光の輝度及び/または色が、既設定された光の輝度及び色と一致するように、前記赤色、緑色、青色LEDの出力を決定するマイクロコントローラをさらに備え、
前記少なくとも1つの赤色、緑色、青色LED用定電流制御部は、前記赤色、緑色、青色LEDが前記マイクロコントローラによって決定された出力を維持するように、前記赤色、緑色、青色LEDアレイに流れる電流を制御することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のLEDを備えたLCDバックライトの駆動システム。 - 前記基板は、複数の分割領域を有し、該各分割領域につきそれぞれ1つの赤色、緑色、青色LEDアレイが配置され、
前記赤色、緑色、青色LED用定電流制御部は、1つの前記赤色、緑色、青色LEDアレイにつき1つずつそれぞれ備えられたことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のLEDを備えたLCDバックライトの駆動システム。 - 前記光源部は、複数の赤色LEDアレイ、複数のLEDアレイ及び複数の青色LEDアレイを備え、
前記複数の赤色LEDアレイのそれぞれに含まれた赤色LEDの個数はいずれも同一であり、前記複数の緑色LEDアレイのそれぞれに含まれた緑色LEDの個数はいずれも同一であり、前記複数の青色LEDアレイのそれぞれに含まれた青色LEDの個数はいずれも同一であることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のLEDを備えたLCDバックライトの駆動システム。
