Abstract
【解決手段】 ジメチルエーテル5を燃料とするディーゼルエンジン1において、燃料タンク6に設けられ該燃料タンク6内の燃料を供給管7を介してエンジン側の高圧ポンプ4に供給する供給ポンプ8と、前記高圧ポンプ4内の燃料通路部13の燃料温度から蒸気圧を算出すると共に、エンジン運転状況から前記蒸気圧に対するマージン圧力幅を設定し、高圧ポンプ4内の燃料通路部13の燃料の圧力が、前記蒸気圧に前記マージン圧力を加えた目標圧力になるように前記供給ポンプ8を制御する制御装置14とを備えている。

Claims (2)
- ジメチルエーテルを燃料とするディーゼルエンジンにおいて、燃料タンクに設けられ該燃料タンク内の燃料を供給管を介してエンジン側の高圧ポンプに供給する供給ポンプと、前記高圧ポンプ内の燃料通路部の燃料温度から蒸気圧を算出すると共に、エンジン運転状況から前記蒸気圧に対するマージン圧力幅を設定し、高圧ポンプ内の燃料通路部の燃料の圧力が、前記蒸気圧に前記マージン圧力を加えた目標圧力になるように前記供給ポンプを制御する制御装置とを備えたことを特徴とするジメチルエーテル用ディーゼルエンジン。
- 前記高圧ポンプ内の燃料通路部には、燃料圧力が所定値を越えたときに燃料通路部から燃料を戻り管を介して前記燃料タンク内に戻すリリーフ弁が設けられ、前記戻り管には燃料タンクに戻る戻り燃料の温度を検出する戻り燃料温度センサが設けられ、前記制御装置は、戻り燃料の温度が所定値を超えた時に前記供給ポンプの回転を上げて戻り燃料の戻り量を増大するように設定されていることを特徴とする請求項1記載のジメチルエーテル用ディーゼルエンジン。
