Abstract
Description
新規な方法において、合成溶液を用いて、多孔性基板の被覆側を処理することによって、膜が製造され、その際に、基板それ自体に不活性な流体を部分的に又は完全に満たし、多孔性基板の非被覆側と接触する空間を上記の流体で満たし、そして流体の圧力及び/又は温度は、合成溶液と多孔性基板の非被覆側との接触が実質的に防止されるように選択される。
新規な方法で多孔性基板に施される固体層は、細孔非含有若しくはミクロ細孔性であるか、又は基板層(支持体層)の細孔より小さな細孔を有するのが好ましい。本発明の特定の実施の形態において、新規な方法で基板に形成される層の粒径は、0.3〜100nmの範囲であり、特に好ましくは0.4〜10nmの範囲であり、特に0.4〜1nmの範囲である。
新規な方法で使用される流体は、液体又はガス状であるのが好ましい。
新規な方法で使用される多孔性基板(多孔性支持体)は、酸化アルミニウム、(二)酸化チタン、酸化ジルコニウム、酸化マグネシウム、金属及び炭素からなる群から選択される材料から構成されているのが好ましい。更に、基板材料が、焼結処理された多孔性本体部の形の金属を含むのが望ましい。基板材料は、本発明により製造される膜の機械的安定性を実質的に保証する必要がある。
α−Al2O3(外径10mm、内径7mm、長さ300mm)を含み、内側の平均孔径が60nmであり、非対称構造を有するInocermic社製(Hermsdorf、ドイツ)の単一溝チューブ(両端部が長さ20mmに亘ってガラス被覆されている)を、最初の以下のようにシード処理した:
シード懸濁液を、Persson等による方法(Zeolites 14 (1994), 557頁以降)に基づき、60℃の条件下、以下のモル組成:
9のテトラプロピルアンモニウムの水酸化物(1Mの水溶液、Sigma社製)、
25のSiO2(Koestrosol 0830、Chemiewerk Koestritz社製)、
360のH2O、
100のEtOH、
を有する溶液から2週間に亘る熱水結晶化によって調製した。
0.035のテトラプロピルアンモニウムブロミド(プラム(purum)、Fluka社製)、
1のSiO2(Koestrosol 0830、Chemiewerk Koestritz社製)、
85のH2O、
0.35のNa2O(NaOHペレットとして、Merck社製)、
を有する合成溶液を貯蔵容器に導入した。
手順は実施例1と同様であるが、テフロン(登録商標)テープで単一溝チューブの周囲を囲んでから装置Aに設置し、そして合成中に外側を合成溶液と接触させた。
Claims (10)
- 固体層の形成ための合成溶液を用いて、基板の被覆側を処理することによって多孔性基板の一方の側に形成された少なくとも1層の固体層を含む膜を製造する方法であって、
多孔性基板への固体層の製造において、多孔性基板それ自体に不活性な流体を部分的に又は完全に満たし、多孔性基板の非被覆側と接触する空間を不活性な流体で満たし、且つ流体の圧力及び温度は、合成溶液と多孔性基板の非被覆側との接触が実質的に防止されるように選択されることを特徴とする膜の製造方法。 - 基板が、酸化アルミニウム、酸化チタン、酸化ジルコニウム、酸化マグネシウム、金属及び炭素からなる群から選択される材料を含む請求項1に記載の方法。
- 流体が気体であり、空気及び窒素から選択される請求項1又は2に記載の方法。
- 流体が液体であり、水、及び合成溶液と混和性ギャップを形成する液体からなる群から選択される請求項1又は2に記載の方法。
- 固体層の製造中における流体の圧力は、合成溶液と基板材料により形成される接触角が90°未満となる場合の前記合成溶液の圧力に対応する値で保持される請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 固体層の製造中における流体の圧力は、合成溶液と基板材料により形成される接触角が90°を超える場合の合成溶液の圧力以下に対応する値で保持される請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 層は、ゼオライト又はペロブスカイト若しくはペロブスカイト様構造を有する導電性混合酸化物からなる群から選択される結晶性材料から構成されている請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 層は、金属酸化物からなる群から選択される非晶質材料から構成されている請求項1〜7のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 請求項1〜8のいずれか1項の方法により得られる膜。
- 請求項9に記載の膜を、ガス透過又はパーベーパレーションによる物質の分離及び流体混合物のナノろ過、限外ろ過又は精密ろ過に使用する方法。
