Claims (30)

該第1の円筒部材に連結され、近位端部分、遠位端部分、および少なくとも一部が中を通って延びる第2のルーメンを有する第2の円筒部材とからなり、
該第2の円筒部材の該遠位端部分が該第1の円筒部材の該遠位端部分を越えて遠位端に約10センチメートル以上延びている、血管内カテーテル。 - 前記第1および第2の円筒部材がほぼ平行構成に整列されている、請求項1に記載のカテーテル。
- 前記第1および第2の円筒部材が接着剤により接合されている、請求項2に記載のカテーテル。
- 前記第1および第2の円筒部材が共押出成形されている、請求項2に記載のカテーテル。
- 前記第1および第2の円筒部材が熱接合されている、請求項2に記載のカテーテル。
- 前記第1の円筒部材および前記第2の円筒部材の両方の少なくとも一部の上に配設されたシースをさらに含む、請求項2に記載のカテーテル。
- 前記シースが前記第1の円筒部材と前記第2の円筒部材を固定する、請求項6に記載のカテーテル。

該ルーメンと流体連通する該円筒体部分に画成され、該第1の開口の約10センチメートル以上近位側の位置に配設されている、血管内カテーテル。 - 前記円筒体部分が、前記遠位端部分の断面積が、前記近位端部分の断面積よりも小さいように先細になっている、請求項17に記載のカテーテル。
- 前記円筒体部分が、第2の管に連結された第1の管によって画成され、該第1および第2の管がそれぞれ遠位端部分を有する、請求項17に記載のカテーテル。
- 前記第1の開口が前記第1の管の遠位端部分に隣接して画成されている、請求項19に記載のカテーテル。
- 前記第2の開口が前記第2の管の遠位端部分に隣接して画成されている、請求項19に記載のカテーテル。
- 前記第1および第2の管がほぼ平行構成で整列されている、請求項19に記載のカテーテル。
- 前記第1および第2の管がほぼ同軸構成で整列されている、請求項19に記載のカテーテル。
- 前記第1の管、前記第2の管、またはその両方が支持構造層を含む、請求項19に記載のカテーテル。
- 前記第2の開口が、前記第1の開口の約10〜50センチメートル以上近位側の位置で前記円筒体部分に配設されている、請求項17に記載のカテーテル。
- 前記第2の開口が、前記第1の開口の約20〜40センチメートル以上近位側の位置で前記円筒体部分に配設されている、請求項17に記載のカテーテル。
- 中を通る造影剤ルーメンを有し該造影剤ルーメンが中に造影剤を通すように構成されている第1の軸部材と、該第1の軸部材に連結され、中を通って延びるマイクロカテーテル・ルーメンを有し該マイクロカテーテル・ルーメンが中にマイクロカテーテルを通すように構成されている第2の軸部材とからなり、該第2の軸部材が該第1の軸部材と整列されており該第1の軸部材を越えて遠位側に延びる、複合型マイクロガイド・カテーテル・デバイス。
- 近位端部分、遠位端部分、および中に画成されたルーメンを有する第1の円筒部材を提供するステップと、
近位端部分、遠位端部分、および中に画成されたルーメンを有する第2の円筒部材を提供するステップと、
該第1の円筒部材と該第2の円筒部材を、該第1の円筒部材が該第2の円筒部材の該遠位端部分を越えて遠位側に延びる配置で共に固定するステップとからなる、カテーテルの製造方法。 - 複合型マイクロガイド・カテーテルを提供するステップであって、該カテーテルが近位端部分、遠位端部分、および少なくとも一部が中を通って延びる第1のルーメンを有する第

該第1の円筒部材の該ルーメンを通して血管内に造影剤を注入するステップと、
該第2の円筒部材の該ルーメンを通してマイクロカテーテルを前進させるステップとを含む、複合型マイクロガイド・カテーテルの使用方法。 - 近位側に配設された支持体および可視化部分および遠位側に配設された遠位側アクセス部分を有する細長い軸からなり、該支持体および可視化部分が中に造影剤を注入するための第1のルーメンを画成し、該遠位側アクセス部分が中にマイクロカテーテルを前進させるための第2のルーメンを含む、複合型マイクロガイド・カテーテル・デバイス。
