Abstract
Description
平均波長で定義される複数の波長チャネルを有する光ビームをある回折格子入射角で送出する入力ポートと、
ファセット長で定義される複数の反射壁と前記側壁長で定義される複数の側壁とを有し、前記波長チャネルを波長に従って様々な角度に分散させる反射型回折格子と、
前記波長チャネルを取り込むように配置された複数の出力ポートとを備え、
前記ファセット長を前記側壁長で割ることによって定義されるアスペクト比が3より大きい装置に関する。
ファセット長で定義される複数の反射壁と側壁長で定義される複数の非反射側壁とを含む反射型回折格子と、
前記光チャネルを有する光ビームを前記回折格子で、ある入射角で送出する入力ポートと、
前記光チャネルのうちの1つを出力する第1出力ポートと、
前記光チャネルのうちの別の1つを出力する第2出力ポートとを備え、
絶対値7以下の次数での回折を前記格子が実現するのを保証するように前記ファセット長および前記入射角が選択される装置に関する。

Claims (20)
- 光信号を多重化分離するのに使用される、プレーナ導波路プラットフォーム上の反射型回折格子装置であって、
平均波長で定義される複数の波長チャネルを有する光ビームをある回折格子入射角で送出する入力ポートと、
ファセット長で定義される複数の反射壁と側壁長で定義される複数の側壁とを有し、前記波長チャネルを波長に従って様々な角度に分散させる反射型回折格子と、
前記波長チャネルを取り込むように配置された複数の出力ポートとを備え、
前記ファセット長を前記側壁長で割ることによって定義されるアスペクト比が3より大きい装置。 - 前記アスペクト比が5より大きい請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記アスペクト比が10より大きい請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記回折格子入射角が6°未満である請求項3に記載の装置。
- 前記側壁長が、前記平均波長の2倍以下である請求項3に記載の装置。
- 前記側壁長が前記平均波長以下である請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記入射角が30°未満である請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記入射角が15°未満である請求項1に記載の装置。
- 平均波長で定義される光チャネルを多重化または多重化分離するのに使用される、プレーナ導波路プラットフォーム上の反射型回折格子装置であって、
ファセット長で定義される複数の反射壁と側壁長で定義される複数の非反射側壁とを含む反射型回折格子と、
前記光チャネルを有する光ビームを前記回折格子で、ある入射角で送出する入力ポートと、
前記光チャネルのうちの1つを出力する第1出力ポートと、
前記光チャネルのうちの別の1つを出力する第2出力ポートとを備え、
絶対値7以下の次数での回折を前記格子が実現するのを保証するように前記ファセット長および前記入射角が選択される装置。 - 前記次数が5以下である請求項9に記載の装置。
- 前記次数が3以下である請求項9に記載の装置。
- 前記回折格子入射角が6°未満である請求項11に記載の装置。
- 前記側壁長が前記平均波長以下である請求項12に記載の装置。
- 前記入射角が45°未満である請求項9に記載の装置。
- 前記入射角が30°未満である請求項9に記載の装置。
- 前記入射角が15°未満である請求項9に記載の装置。
- 前記側壁長が前記平均波長の2倍以下である請求項9に記載の装置。
- 前記側壁長が前記平均波長以下である請求項9に記載の装置。
