Abstract
【解決手段】 本発明の実施形態は、眼圧を処置する方法およびシステムを提供する。標的となる眼の毛様体領域にレーザ光が向けられる。その光は、毛様体領域を刺激して、その中に詰まった破片を除去する。毛様体への刺激によって、免疫反応が引き起こされてよい。ブドウ膜−強膜流出経路を塞ぐ破片を除去することで、眼の前房からの房水の流出が増大し、眼圧が低減される。

Claims (24)
- ほ乳類の眼の眼圧を処置するための方法であって、
前記眼の毛様体領域にレーザ光を向ける工程と、
前記毛様体領域を刺激する工程と、
前記毛様体領域に詰まった破片を除去する工程と、を備える、方法。 - 請求項1に記載の方法であって、
前記レーザ光は、50μm以上の透過深さを有する、方法。 - 請求項1に記載の方法であって、
前記レーザ光は、70μm以上の透過深さを有する、方法。 - 請求項1に記載の方法であって、
前記レーザ光は、200μm以上の透過深さを有する、方法。 - 請求項1に記載の方法であって、さらに、
前記毛様体領域の毛様体線維柱帯を前記レーザ光の標的にする工程を備える、方法。 - 請求項5に記載の方法であって、さらに、
免疫反応を引き起こす工程を備える、方法。 - 請求項6に記載の方法であって、
前記免疫反応は、サイトカインおよびマクロファージの活性化を含む、方法。 - 請求項5に記載の方法であって、さらに、

前記眼の前房の周りに配置された接触リングを備え、前記レーザ光は、複数の標的点に同時に供給される、システム。 - 請求項18に記載のシステムであって、さらに、
前記装置は、前記眼の強膜に直接的に接触するよう構成されている、システム。 - 強膜越しに毛様体形成を行うための方法であって、
前記眼の毛様体領域に近接した患者の眼の強膜を圧迫する工程と、
前記強膜を通して前記毛様体領域にレーザ光のビームを向ける工程と、
免疫反応を引き起こす工程と、を備える、方法。 - 請求項21に記載の方法であって、
前記レーザは、700nmから1000nmの範囲の波長を有する、方法。 - 請求項21に記載の方法であって、
