Abstract
Description
a)移動端末をレイヤ2に移動した場合、アクセスルータの移動端末(MN)から修正されたRSメッセージを受信するステップ
b)アクセスルータの移動端末から送信された、修正されたRSメッセージに基づいて、アクセスルータのレイヤ3における移動端末の移動を検知するステップ
c)移動端末がレイヤ3に移動する場合、アクセスルータの移動端末の新しいCoAを生成するステップ
d)生成されたCoAの唯一性を検査するために、アクセスルータの重複アドレス検出(DAD)を実行するステップ
e)移動端末から送信された、修正されたRSメッセージに対応する、修正されたルータ広告(RA)メッセージをアクセスルータの移動端末に送信するステップ
1つ目は、レイヤ2識別子が近隣キャッシュ値にない場合である。このことは、携帯端末が、アクセスルータの制御下のサブネット領域に入ってきた新しい端末であることを表す。
このように、アクセスルータは、CoAを設定し、その後DADを実行する処理を実行する。
すなわち、レイヤ2移動は発生したが、レイヤ3移動はまだ発生していない。
Claims (9)
- アクセスルータを基盤としたモバイルIPv6の高速ハンドオーバを実行する方法であって、
a)移動端末(MN)をレイヤ2に移動した場合、前記アクセスルータの前記移動端末から修正されたRSメッセージを受信するステップと、
b)前記アクセスルータの前記移動端末から送信された、前記修正されたRSメッセージに基づいて、前記アクセスルータのレイヤ3における前記移動端末の移動を検知するステップと、
c)前記移動端末が前記レイヤ3に移動する場合、前記アクセスルータの前記移動端末の新しい気付アドレス(CoA)を生成するステップと、
d)前記生成されたCoAの唯一性を検査するために、前記アクセスルータの重複アドレス検出(DAD)を実行するステップと、
e)前記移動端末から送信された、前記修正されたRSメッセージに対応する、修正されたルータ広告(RA)メッセージを前記アクセスルータの前記移動端末に送信するステップと
を備えたことを特徴とする方法。 - 前記ステップa)は、
a1)前記アクセスポイントの前記移動端末からreassociation.requestメッセージを受信するステップと、
a2)reassociation.requestメッセージに対応するReassociation.replyメッセージを、前記アクセスポイントの前記移動端末に送信するステップと
を備えたことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。 - a3)前記アクセスルータから送信された前記修正されたRAメッセージを受信し、前記アクセスルータから送信された前記修正されたRAメッセージで特定された前記CoAを、DADなしで、前記移動端末のネットワークインターフェースのアドレスとして使用し、前記移動端末のバインディングアップデートを実行するステップをさらに備えたことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記ステップa)において、前記アクセスルータは、前記レイヤ2のハンドオーバが前記移動端末において完了するとすぐに、前記RSメッセージを前記移動端末から受信することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記ステップb)において、前記レイヤ3における前記移動端末の前記移動を、前記アクセスルータの近隣キャッシュ値と、前記移動端末から送信される前記修正されたRSメッセージに含まれる、前記移動端末のレイヤ2識別子とを比較することによって検知することを特徴とする請求項4に記載の方法。
- 前記修正されたRSメッセージは、CoAの生成(CoA Generate)を表すフラグを含むことを特徴とする請求項5に記載の方法。
- 前記修正されたRAメッセージは、CoAの生成(CoA Generate)を表すフラグを含むことを特徴とする請求項6に記載の方法。
- 前記修正されたRAメッセージは、前記ステップc)で生成されたCoAを含むことを特徴とする請求項7に記載の方法。
- 前記修正されたRAメッセージは、前記CoAがプレフィックスに含まれることを表すフラグを含むことを特徴とする請求項8に記載の方法。
