Abstract
板紙カートンであって、カートンの一端部で端パネル構造部（２２）に対して固着された仕切りパッド（２９）によって分離された２層以上にして商品を収容するための板紙カートンが提供されている。カートンは、上部パネル（１３）と、底部パネル（１６）と、１対の向き合った側部パネル（１５）とを有する。側部パネルの一方（１５）は、一端部に隣接した切り取り部分を有し、これは、取り除くと、上記１つの端パネル構造部を下にしてカートンを置いたとき、商品取り出し用のロールアウト穴を画定する。
Description
本発明は、分配パッケージに、また排他的ではないが特に、食品及び飲料などの缶詰製品用の分配パッケージに関する。
一般的に、缶詰めされた食品／飲料製品は、板紙又は段ボール製の浅いトレイに入れ、プラスチックフィルムで収縮包装された状態で供給される。多くの場合、多数のこれらの収縮包装トレイが、スーパーマーケットの棚の上で上下に積み重ねられている。トレイは通常、最も広幅の表面を下にして積み重ねられ、これは、特に１つのトレイだけが棚の上にある場合、空間効率に欠けると見なされるであろう。また、収縮包装は、製品の差別化を助けることに効果的ではない。
本願と同時係属中の国際特許出願第ＰＣＴ／ＧＢ２００３／００３３５１号では、少なくとも２層に配置された商品用の板紙カートンであって、上部パネルと、底部パネルと、向き合あわせて配置された１対の側部パネルと、向き合わせて配置された１対の端パネル構造部と、商品の隣接層の間に設けられて、一端部で端パネル構造部に対して固着される仕切りパッドとを有し、側部パネルの一方が、その一端部に隣接して切り取り部分を有し、それにより、その１つの端パネル構造部を下にしてカートンを置いたとき、商品取り出し用のロールアウト穴を画定するようになっている板紙カートンが提供されている。一部の実施形態では、１つ又は複数のカットが、切り取り部分から隣接端部まで部分的に延びている。好都合には、これらのカットの２つが、それぞれ上記１つの側部パネルと上部パネル及び底部パネルとの間の折り目に沿って延びており、また、そのカット又は各カットの、切り取り部分から遠い端部に、横方向カットも設けられている。
本発明によれば、少なくとも２層に配置された商品用の板紙カートンであって、上部パネルと、底部パネルと、向き合あわせて配置された１対の側部パネルと、向き合わせて配置された１対の端パネル構造部と、商品の隣接層の間に設けられて、一端部で端パネル構造部に対して固着される仕切りパッドとを有し、側部パネルの一方は、その一端部に隣接した切り取り部分を有し、それにより、主弱め線によって、その１つの端パネル構造部を下にして該カートンを立てたとき、商品取り出し用のロールアウト穴を画定するようになっており、また切り取り部分は、上部及び底部パネル内に延びる延出部を有し、補助弱め線が、延出部の各々からそれぞれ上部及び底部パネルの隣接端縁部まで延びている、板紙カートンが提供されている。
好ましくは、各端パネル構造部は、それぞれ上部及び底部パネルにヒンジ接続された１対の向き合わせて配置された主端フラップを組み込む。好適な構造では、延出部に隣接した各補助弱め線の開始点は、端縁部に位置する弱め線の終点より側縁部に近い。一部の実施形態では、各補助弱め線は蛇行形である。
さらなる好適な特徴は、各補助弱め線が、隣接した主端フラップ内へ続いていることである。好都合には、各補助弱め線の延長部分は、側縁部に向かって戻るように傾斜し、横方向Ｔ字形カットで終端しており、またＴ字形カットの直立部は、側縁部にほぼ平行であり、Ｔ字形カットの横棒は、端縁部にほぼ平行である。
理想的には、各補助弱め線は、多数の破断可能な保持ブリッジを設けたカットを有する。
好ましくは、仕切りパッドは、他方の端パネル構造部に対して固着されている。好適な実施形態では、仕切りパッドは、折り曲げられた接着パネルをその又は各固着端部に有する。好適な構造では、上部端フラップは、最後に折り曲げられ、それに対応した端パネル構造部のそれに対応したすべての端フラップに、且つ、それに対応した、折り曲げられた接着パネルに接着される。
理想的には、一直線状の接着剤が、上部端フラップを他方の端フラップ及び接着パネルに取り付ける接着を行う。１つのそのような実施形態では、底部端フラップは、中央突出領域を有し、それにより、直線状の接着剤は、側部端フラップの一方、接着パネル、底部端フラップの中央領域、接着パネル及び他方の側部端フラップ上に順に与えられる。
通常は、上部パネル、底部パネル、２つの側部パネル及び２つの端パネル構造部のパネルは、ほぼ矩形であるが、他の構造も考えられる。
次に、本発明の１つの実施形態をより詳細に説明する。説明は、添付図面を参照する。
図１には、組み立てて、一端部を下にして立たせた状態で図７に示されているカートン１２を作製するための１対の板紙ブランク１０、１１が示されている。さまざまな組み立て段階が、図２〜図６に斜視図で示されている。
主ブランク１０は、基本的なカートン形状を形成するために使用され、向き合わせて配置された側部パネル１４、１５にヒンジ接続された上部パネル１３を提供する。側部パネル１５は、糊付けフラップ１７にヒンジ接続されている底部パネル１６にヒンジ接続されている。主ブランク１０は、糊付けフラップ１７を側部パネル１４の自由縁部１８に隣接した領域に接着することによって、ほぼスリーブ形に形成される。
側部端フラップ１９、２０が、ブランク１０の各端部でそれぞれ側部パネル１４、１５にヒンジ接続されている。上部端フラップ２１が、ブランク１０の各端部で上部パネル１３にヒンジ接続され、同様に底部端フラップ２２が、各端部で底部パネル１６にヒンジ接続されている。各底部端フラップ２２は、底部端フラップ２２の隣接自由縁部２４を越えて突出する中央領域２３を有し、その理由は後で明らかになるであろう。
側部パネル１５は、ミシン目などの主弱め線２５によって画定された切り取り部分３３も組み込んでいる。切り取り部分３３は、２６で底部パネル１６内に、２７で上部パネル１３内に部分的に延びている。側部パネル１５の小部分２８が、切り取り部分３３を取り除いた後に残り、それにより、停止壁として作用することを意図されている。ロールアウト機構の他の形式及び形状を、図示のものの代わりに使用することもできるであろう。
第２ブランク１１、すなわち仕切りパッドは、寸法及び形状が主ブランク１０の上部及び底部パネル１３、１６に対応する矩形の主パネル２９を有する。主パネル２９の各端部に、折り曲げられる接着パネル３０がヒンジ接続されている。
カートン１２を組み立てるために、主ブランク１０の糊付けフラップ１７を側部パネル１４に固着して、主ブランク１０を開いて端部開放型スリーブを形成する。次に、一層の缶３１をスリーブに挿入して、図２に示すようにそれらの端部が底部パネル１６上に載るようにする。次に、第２ブランク１１を、図３に示すように挿入して、缶３１の層の上に載せる。次に、第２層の缶３１をスリーブに挿入して、仕切りパッド１１の主パネル２９の上に載せ、接着パネル３０をスリーブの両端部で下向きに折り、それにより、図４に示されているように、下層の缶３１に当てる。次に、各端部の側部端フラップ１９、２０を折り込み、底部端フラップ２２を上向きに折り、各端部で一直線状の接着剤３２を、図５に示されているように、側部端フラップ１９、２０、接着パネル３０及び底部端フラップ２２の中央領域２３に塗布する。次に、各端部で上部端フラップ２１を折り曲げて線状の接着剤３２と接触させ、それにより、接着パネル３０、底部端フラップ２２及び側部端フラップ１９、２０に固着させる。
これにより、カートン１２は、図６に示されているように完全に組み立てられて、すべてのパネルで製品及び販売促進情報、広告、ロゴ、懸賞の詳細などを表示することができる。店では、カートン１２を棚に、消費者の方に面する切り取り部分３３に隣接する端部を下にして載置することができる。これが図７に示されている。したがって、側部パネル１５は、広告ロゴ及び他の情報を表示するのに特に適している。次に、切り取り部分３３を取り除き、それにより、消費者が、図８に示されているように、生じたロールアウト分配穴から缶３１を取り出すことができる。停止壁２８により、缶３１がカートン１２から転がり出ることが防止される。
カートン１２は、それが棚の上に占める水平方向の空間が、従来の缶用シュリンク包装トレイに比べて比較的小さく、また、たとえば側部パネル１５上などに大きい広告／情報領域を提供することができる。
図９には、上記していない詳細を示す。図９のブランクの詳細を見ると、側部パネル１５と上部パネル１３及び底部パネル１６との間の折り目がそれぞれ番号４０及び４１で表されている。停止壁２８に隣接した主弱め線２５は、折り目４０及び４１と交差する。
補助弱め線４２が、切り取り部分３３の延出部２６、２７を画定する主弱め線２５から延びており、そのため、上部パネル１３に１つ、底部パネル１６に１つの補助弱め線４２がある。各補助弱め線４２は、蛇行形であって、使用時に切り取り部分の最下点付近に位置する地点から、上部／底部パネルの、上部端フラップ２１／底部端フラップ２２がヒンジ接続されている端縁部に向かって延びている。端部折り目に位置する補助弱め線の端部４３は、主弱め線２５に隣接する端部より折り目４０／４１から遠い位置にある。
これにより、補助弱め線４２の破断時に、下部前コーナ領域及び停止壁２８が、端部４３を結ぶ線をほぼ中心にしてわずかに前方に回動することができる。これは、缶をより容易に取り出しやすくするが、缶を取り出した後、元の位置に戻る。
図９に示されたさらに好適な特徴は、端フラップ２１、２２内に短い斜めカット４４が、各補助弱め線４２の端部４３の領域のすぐ手前から折り目４０／４１に向かって延びていることである。各斜めカット４４の端部にＴ字形カット４５が設けられ、それの横棒４６は端部折り目に平行であり、それの直立部分４７は折り目４０／４１に平行である。また、カット４５の横棒４６は、それぞれ上部端フラップ２１／底部端フラップ２２の自由縁部４８まで延びている。この特徴は、使用時の下部コーナ領域の移動を助け、且つこの移動中の応力の分散を助ける。
円筒形の商品がカートンに特に適しているが、円筒形の缶だけでなく、他の製品もこのようにパック詰めできることは、理解されるであろう。また、２層以上の缶を収容し、少なくともロールアウト穴に隣接した端パネル構造部に、好ましくは両方の端パネル構造部に固着した仕切りパッドで各層を分離させるように、カートンを変更することもできる。完成カートンの他の組み立て方法も容易に考えられるであろう。
Claims (14)
- 少なくとも２層に配置された商品用の板紙カートンであって、上部パネルと、底部パネルと、向き合あわせて配置された１対の側部パネルと、向き合わせて配置された１対の端パネル構造部と、商品の隣接層の間に設けられて、一端部で該端パネル構造部に対して固着される仕切りパッドとを有し、該側部パネルの一方は、該一端部に隣接した切り取り部分を有し、それにより、主弱め線によって、該１つの端パネル構造部を下にして該カートンを立てたとき、商品取り出し用のロールアウト穴を画定するようになっており、また、該切り取り部分は、該上部及び底部パネル内に延びる延出部を有し、補助弱め線が、該延出部の各々からそれぞれ該上部及び底部パネルの隣接端縁部まで延びている、板紙カートン。
- 各端パネル構造部は、それぞれ前記上部及び底部パネルにヒンジ接続された１対の向き合わせて配置された主端フラップを組み込む、請求項１に記載のカートン。
- 前記延出部に隣接した前記各補助弱め線の開始点は、前記端縁部に位置する該弱め線の終点より該側縁部に近い、請求項２に記載のカートン。
