Abstract

A separating piece runs longitudinally and is folded to allow space around the body of each glass. A location for the foot is also provided, the feet sitting on a false bottom. Together, a cushioning against shock is achieved. Further separators slot into the first at right angles to give separate compartments, isolating each glass and avoiding crushing. The whole is made of corrugated cardboard and fits into a case. The separating piece may be folded to provide side protection walls for the compartments, and have cutouts to receive the feet of the glasses.
