Abstract

1,029,268. Packaging. VEREENIGDE GLASFABRIEKEN N.V. (UNITED GLASSWORKS). Aug. 30, 1963 [Aug. 31, 1962], No. 34479/63. Heading B8C. A package is folded from a sheet into parallelepipedic shape and has recesses in two opposite side walls to permit articles to protrude partially, a portion of each recess being left attached as a tab to project outwardly from the package over a distance greater than that by which the articles protrude. Recesses 16a, 16b, 16c are cut in a side wall 8 of a package 1 and similarly in opposite side wall 7 so as to leave portions 21, 22 attached as tabs, the shape of the recesses corresponding to that of packed liquor glasses 15a, 15b, 15c; similar recesses and tabs 23a, 24a, 24b, 24c are formed in the walls for the base of the articles.
