Abstract
Description
本明細書で使用するとき、次の用語は次の意味を有する。
図1は、本発明による吸収性物品の好ましい実施形態としてのおむつ20の平面図である。おむつは、広げて非収縮状態(すなわち、弾性による収縮なし)で示される。構造の一部を切り欠いて、おむつ20の下層構造をより明瞭に示している。着用者に接触するおむつ20の部分が、読者に向いている。図1のおむつ20のシャーシ22は、おむつ20の本体を含む。シャーシ22は、液体透過性トップシート24及び/又は液体不透過性バックシート26を含む外側カバーを備える。シャーシはまた、トップシート24とバックシート26との間に入れられた、吸収性コア28の大部分又は全部を含んでもよい。シャーシは、好ましくは、サイドパネル30、レッグカフ32、及び腰部機構34を更に含む。レッグカフ及び腰部機構は、典型的には弾性部材33を備える。おむつ20の1つの末端部は、おむつ20の前腰部領域36として構成される。反対側の末端部は、おむつ20の後腰部領域38として構成される。おむつ20の中間部は、前腰部領域36と後腰部領域38との間を長手方向に延びる股部領域37として構成される。股部領域37は、おむつ20を着用したときにほぼ着用者の脚の間に位置するおむつ20の部分である。腰部領域36及び38は、好ましくは後腰部領域38に取り付けられた締着部材40と前腰部領域36に取り付けられたランディング領域42とを備える締着装置を含んでもよい。おむつ20は、長手方向軸線100と横断方向軸線110とを有する。おむつ20の周囲は、おむつ20の外側縁部によって画定され、長手方向縁部44はおむつ20の長手方向軸線100にほぼ平行に通り、終縁部46はおむつ20の横断方向軸線110にほぼ平行に通る。
「不織布布地」とは、摩擦及び/又は粘着及び/又は接着により結合された、指向性繊維又はランダムに配向された繊維で製造されたシート、ウェブ、又は詰め物(batt)であり、紙と、さらなるニードル加工の有無を問わず、結合糸若しくはフィラメントを組み込んだ織り製品、編み製品、タフテッド製品、ステッチで結合した製品、又は湿式粉砕によるフェルト製品とを除く。
多数の繊維及び結合剤を含むいかなる材料も、すなわち、上記のようにいかなる不織布材料も、本発明による液体捕捉層を提供するのに好適である。それぞれの材料は、外部圧力を加えること及び取り除くことに関して良好に回復する必要がある。特に材料は、先行技術の材料と比較して、高温で、改善された回復性を有する。
回復値の測定
機器:どちらも米国TAインスツルメンツ(TA Instruments)によって提供される、ガス冷却付属装置(Gas Cooling Accessory)(GCA)と組み合わせたダイナミック・メカニカル・アナライザー(Dynamic Mechanical Analyzer)2980、又は同等品。GCAは、炉のヒーターと組み合わせて温度を調節するために、及び不活性測定雰囲気を提供するために、蒸発させて、DMAの炉を通過させた液体窒素を使用する。等温安定性は、+/−1℃未満であってはいけない。
試料の準備:
TAインスツルメンツ(TA Instruments)によって提供される穿孔機を使用して、不織布試料(NW)から直径13mmの円筒形の試料が打ち抜かれ、圧縮クランプの下側プレート上に配置される。NWの最初の厚さを測定するために、上側プレートが手で慎重にNWより上に配置される。制御されていない予備圧縮を防ぐために、上側プレートはNWに接触するべきでない。上側プレートが適切に配置された後、モーターの駆動軸が止められて、上側プレートを正しい位置で保持する。
圧縮クリープ試験は、NWに一定の応力が加えられる圧縮工程と、NWの弾力性又は回復性を決定するために応力がゼロに設定される次の回復工程とからなる。
温度:実験中、温度は一定に保たれる。回復機能の温度依存性を決定するために、実験は典型的には20℃、45℃、又は60℃のいずれかで行われる。(1つの温度の選択肢について1回の実験。)
均衡時間:NWと器具とを熱的に均衡させるために、圧縮工程前に少なくとも10分の均衡時間がプログラムされる必要がある。
予荷重力:0.02N、方法が開始された後、上側圧縮クランププレートをNW試料に接触させ続けるために、実験中ずっと加えられる。
直径:13mm、穿孔機によって決定される。
加えられる応力:50kPa(約7psi)
DMAは、圧縮モードにおける膨張効果による横断方向のひずみを計算するためにクランプ補正係数を使用する。材料上の50kPa(約7psi)の実際の応力を受けるために入力される必要のある応力は、クランプ係数を考慮した試料の厚さによる。この応力は、50kPa(約7psi)に、所定の試料の厚さでのそれぞれのクランプ係数を掛けて計算される(試料の厚さ対TAインスツルメンツ(TA Instruments)によって提供されるクランプ係数を含む表)。試料の厚さを一致させるために、クランプ係数が挿入される必要がある。

報告書:
最初の試料の厚さに関する、%での回復値((回復した試料の厚さ/最初の試料の厚さ)x100)が、回復時間に対してプロットされる。120分後の最後の回復値が、測定温度の関数として報告される。
本質的に水性の媒質中にポリマー物質の分散体を含む結合剤のtanδ値が、前記結合剤から調製されたポリマーフィルムについて測定される。このために、約2%のパラガム(Paragum)147増粘剤が加えられ、分散体が完全に混合されて、約15分間静止させる。次に、ガードナー(Gardner)ナイフの援助でフィルムが引っ張り出されて、本質的に水性の媒質を、50℃の空気通過オーブンで蒸発させ、透き通るまで一晩、更に乾燥させる。続く硬化が、150℃で60秒間行われる。
Claims (12)
- 吸収性物品用液体捕捉層であって、前記液体捕捉層が多数の繊維及び結合剤を含み、前記液体捕捉層がキャリパーを有し、前記キャリパーが外部圧力に反応して減少し、また前記キャリパーが前記外部圧力を取り除くと増大し、キャリパーの前記増大が、本明細書で定義されるように回復値によって測定され、前記液体捕捉層が20℃での回復値を有し、且つ45℃での回復値を有し、
前記45℃での回復値が、前記20℃での回復値の少なくとも65%であることを特徴とする、液体捕捉層。 - 前記45℃での回復値が、前記20℃での回復値の少なくとも70%、より好ましくは75%、更により好ましくは80%である、請求項1に記載の液体捕捉層。
- 前記結合剤が、スチレン−ブタジエンラテックス結合剤を含む、請求項1又は2に記載の液体捕捉層。
- 前記スチレン−ブタジエンラテックス結合剤が、少なくとも10%、好ましくは少なくとも12%のカルボキシル化レベルを有する、請求項3に記載の液体捕捉層。
- 前記繊維が、ポリエステル繊維であり、前記液体捕捉層が、20〜40重量%の前記結合剤と、60〜80重量%の前記ポリエステル繊維とを含む、請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の液体捕捉層。
- 前記ポリエステル繊維が、20〜80重量%の第1タイプの繊維と、20〜80重量%の第2タイプの繊維とを含み、前記第2タイプの繊維が螺旋捲縮繊維を含む、請求項5に記載の液体捕捉層。
- 前記第1タイプの繊維が、平坦な捲縮を表す、請求項6に記載の液体捕捉層。
- 前記第2タイプの繊維が、化学的に均質な中空の2成分繊維を含む、請求項6に記載の液体捕捉層。
- 前記ポリエステル繊維が、カーディングされて不織布が形成されてなる、請求項1〜8のいずれか1項に記載の液体捕捉層。
- 請求項1〜9のいずれか1項に記載の捕捉部材を含む、おむつ、失禁用ガード、生理用ナプキン、パンティライナーなどの、吸収性物品。
- 請求項1〜10のいずれか1項に記載の捕捉部材を含む吸収性物品であって、化学的に剛化されたセルロース繊維の層を更に含む、吸収性物品。
- トップシートと吸収性コアとを含み、前記物品が意図される着用位置にあるとき、前記トップシートが着用者に面し、前記液体捕捉層と前記化学的に剛化されたセルロース繊維の層とが、前記トップシートと前記吸収性コアとの間に位置する、請求項11に記載の吸収性物品。
