Abstract
【解決手段】 外輪部材2の車両インナ側端部に設けられ、転動体配置空間S1を含むハブ内部空間とハブ外部空間とを隔するカバーと、ハブ内部空間に密封された気体の基準圧体積の増加または減少に応じて、ハブ内部空間の容積を増加または減少させるハブ内部空間容積調整手段4とを備える。

Description
車体側に非回転に取り付けられる外輪部材と、この外輪部材と同心に配置されるとともに前記外輪部材に転動体を介して軸心周りに回転自在に設けられ車両の車輪が取り付けられて一体回転するハブホイールとを備えるハブユニットであって、
前記外輪部材と前記ハブホイールの間に形成された転動体配置空間のアキシャル方向における車両アウタ側端部において前記外輪部材と前記ハブホイールとの間を、これら外輪部材とハブホイールとの相対回転を許容した状態でシールするシール部材と、
前記外輪部材の車両インナ側端部に設けられ、前記転動体配置空間を含むハブ内部空間とハブ外部空間とを隔するカバーと、
該ハブ内部空間に密封された気体の基準圧体積の増加または減少に応じて、前記ハブ内部空間の容積を増加または減少させるハブ内部空間容積調整手段と、
を備えることを特徴とする。
ハブ内部空間とハブ外部空間とを繋ぐ体積調整通路上にダイアフラムを取り付けることができる。
図1は、ハブユニット1の断面図である。この図の左側は車両アウタ側であり、右側は車両インナ側である。図示するように、ハブユニット1は外輪部材2と、この外輪部材2と同心に配置されるハブホイール(内輪部材)3とを備える。

Claims (2)
- 車体側に非回転に取り付けられる外輪部材と、この外輪部材と同心に配置されるとともに前記外輪部材に転動体を介して軸心周りに回転自在に設けられ車両の車輪が取り付けられて一体回転するハブホイールとを備えるハブユニットであって、
前記外輪部材と前記ハブホイールの間に形成された転動体配置空間のアキシャル方向における車両アウタ側端部において前記外輪部材と前記ハブホイールとの間を、これら外輪部材とハブホイールとの相対回転を許容した状態でシールするシール部材と、
前記外輪部材の車両インナ側端部に設けられ、前記転動体配置空間を含むハブ内部空間とハブ外部空間とを隔するカバーと、
該ハブ内部空間に密封された気体の基準圧体積の増加または減少に応じて、前記ハブ内部空間の容積を増加または減少させるハブ内部空間容積調整手段と、
を備えることを特徴とするハブユニット。 - 前記ハブ内部空間に脱酸素剤が封止され、
前記ハブ内部空間容積調整手段は、前記ハブ内部空間を形成する壁部の一部をなす移動壁部であり、
前記移動壁部は弾性材料からなり、前記基準圧体積の変化に追従して前記ハブ内部空間の容積を変化させる向きに弾性変形するダイアフラム部である請求項1記載のハブユニット。
