Abstract
【解決手段】光学要素10は、所定の屈折率の任意の光透過性材料からなる。光学要素10は、湾曲した入射表面12、入射表面に対向する出射表面14、および入射表面の第1縁部と出射表面の第1縁部の間に画定された第1放物線状表面16と、入射表面の第2縁部と出射表面の第2縁部の間に画定された第2放物線表面18を画定する。各放物線状表面16、18は、効果的にCPCを形成する。

Description
DCPCの理論的な長さLを計算するため、ならびに放物線状表面16、18の特性を決定するために、以下の式を用いることができる。
Claims (4)
- 記録すべき文書の一部を照明するための装置であって、
所定の屈折率の光透過性材料を含む光学要素を含み、該光学要素は、
湾曲した入射表面と、
前記入射表面に対向する出射表面と、
前記入射表面の第1縁部と前記出射表面の第1縁部の間に画定された第1の略放物線状表面、および前記入射表面の第2縁部と前記出射表面の第2縁部の間に画定された第2の放物線状表面とを画定し、
前記第1の略放物線状表面と前記第2の略放物線状表面が効果的にCPCを形成する、
該光学要素を含む装置。 - 前記湾曲した入射表面が少なくとも1個の凹部窪みを画定する請求項1に記載の装置。
- 記録すべき文書の一部を照明するための装置であって、
所定の屈折率の光透過性材料を含む光学要素を含み、該光学要素は、
入射表面と、
前記入射表面に対向する湾曲した出射表面と、
前記入射表面の第1縁部と前記出射表面の第1縁部の間に画定された第1の略放物線状表面、および前記入射表面の第2縁部と前記出射表面の第2縁部の間に画定された第2の放物線状表面とを画定し、
前記第1の略放物線状表面と前記第2の略放物線状表面が効果的にCPCを形成する、
該光学要素を含む装置。 - 前記光学要素が、その前記出射表面に凹部を画定する請求項3に記載の装置。
