Abstract
【解決手段】交流電圧用発光素子ユニットにおいて、電気配線が形成されているサブマウントと、複数の第1発光素子112が前記サブマウント上に直列連結された第1発光素子アレイ110と、複数の第2発光素子122が前記サブマウント上にブリッジ回路で連結されたものであり、第1発光素子アレイ110に連結された第2発光素子アレイ120と、を備えているこれにより、発光素子をブリッジ回路及び直列に連結して、別途の整流素子なしにブリッジ回路を通じて整流動作を行わせることによって構造を単純化及び小型化できる。

Claims (6)
- 交流電圧用発光素子ユニットにおいて、
電気配線が形成されているサブマウントと、
複数の第1発光素子が前記サブマウント上に直列連結された第1発光素子アレイと、
複数の第2発光素子が前記サブマウント上にブリッジ回路で連結されたものであり、前記第1発光素子アレイに連結された第2発光素子アレイと、
を備えることを特徴とする発光素子ユニット。 - 前記第1発光素子及び前記第2発光素子は、発光チップから形成されたことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の発光素子ユニット。
- 前記第1発光素子及び前記第2発光素子は、前記サブマウントにフリップチップで実装されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の発光素子ユニット。
- 前記ブリッジ回路の1辺には、前記第2発光素子が一つで構成されるか、複数の前記第2発光素子が直列に連結されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の発光素子ユニット。
- 前記第1発光素子及び前記第2発光素子は、交流電圧の半分の周期の間、Vfが当該第1発光素子及び前記第2発光素子の順方向電圧を、Vpが供給電圧の最大値を表す時、VpをVfで除した値よりも大きい数ほど発光されることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の発光素子ユニット。
