Abstract
【解決手段】無線ネットワークは、ソースノード(11)から宛先ノード(21)に向かって通過するデータを継続して蓄積するための内部バッファ(71)を有する少なくとも1つの中間ノード(15)を含み、障害の発生したノードを迂回する代替パスを確立する。ノード障害を通知するエラーメッセージに応答し、或いは無線リンクにおけるデータ破壊に起因する再送信要求に応答し、消失したデータパケットがローカルに再送信される。このような内部蓄積機能を有していない中間ノードは、内部蓄積機能を有する上流側のノードに要求及びメッセージを中継するべく機能する。

Claims (26)
- 複数の中間ノードを介して、前記ソースノード(11)から前記宛先ノード(21)に至る初期通信パスを確立するステップと;
前記複数の中間ノードの第1中間ノード(27)から、データパケット(29a)を宛先ノード(21)に送信するステップと;
前記データパケット(29a)が宛先ノード(21)により受信されたか否かを決定するステップと;
前記データパケット(29a)が宛先ノード(21)により受信されないことを決定したのに応じて、前記データパケット(29a)が前記第1の中間ノード(27)においてバッファされるか否かを決定するステップと;
前記データパケット(29a)が前記第1中間ノード(27)においてバッファされないことを決定したのに応じて、第1中間ノード(27a)から上流側にある第2中間ノード(13)から初期通信とは異なる第1の代替通信パスを介してデータパケット(29a)の再送を要求するステップと;
を有する方法。 - 前記第2中間ノードは複数のバッファ(71)を含み、前記複数のバッファ(71)の内の各々は異なるプライオリティクラスに対応する請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記データパケット(29a)が前記第1中間ノード(27)にバッファされることに応じて、前記第1中間ノード(27)を前記データパケット(29a)を第2の代替通信パスを介して再送することを更に有する請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記データパケット(29a)が初期通信パス上を通過する際に、前記第1中間ノードの第1バッファに前記データパケット(29a)をバッファすることを更に有する請求項1記載の方法。
- 初期通信パスは、第1中間ノード(27)からの下流側である第3中間ノード(17)を含む請求項4に記載の方法。
- 前記データパケット(29a)が宛先ノード(21)により受信されたか否かの決定は
第3の中間ノード(17)の障害を検知することを含む請求項5に記載の方法。 - 第1中間ノード(27)からの前記データパケット(29a)の再送は出力キュー(queue)においてプライオリティクラスに応じてスケジュールされる請求項6に記載の方法。
- 前記データパケット(29a)を第1中間ノード(27)から第2代替通信パスを介しての再送は、前記第2中間ノード(13)における第1バッファに比較して、プライオリティがより低い第2バッファに蓄積されている第2データパケット(29a)の送信に先立って前記前記データパケット(29a)を再送することを含む請求項6に記載の方法。
- 前記第2代替通信パスは第3中間ノード(17)を含まない請求項8に記載の方法。
- 前記第3中間ノードの障害の検知は、再送メッセージの受信を含む請求項6に記載の方法。
- 前記第1代替通信パスは前記第3中間ノード(17)を含まない請求項6に記載の方法。
- 初期通信パスは、前記第3中間ノード(17)と宛先ノード(21)との間に設けられる第4中間ノード(19)、更に有する請求項6に記載の通信方法。
- 前記第1中間ノード(27)において、前記第4中間ノード(19)からの消失パケットの通知を受信することを、更に有する請求項12に記載の方法。
- ソースノード(11)と

複数の中間ノードであって、
複数の中間ノードの内の少なくとも第1中間ノード(27)、第1中間ノード(27)から上流側にある第2中間ノード(13)を介して、初期通信パスはソースノード(11)と宛先ノード(21)との間に確立され、
初期通信パスで送信されたデータパケット(29a)が宛先ノード(21)に到達することに失敗したかを決定する第1中間ノードに応答して、データパケット(29a)が第1中間ノード(27)に蓄積されていない場合には、前記第1中間ノード(27)が第2中間ノード(13)に再送要求を送信し、
第2中間ノード(13)はデータパケット(29a)を第2中間ノード(13)の第バッファ(73)から第1通信パスとは異なる代替通信パスに沿って再送する中間ノードと、
を有する通信ネットワーク。 - 複数の中間ノードの内の第3中間ノード(17)の障害を検知してデータパケット(29a)が宛先ノード(21)に到着したか否かを決定するように、前記第1中間ノード(27)が構成されている請求項14に記載の通信ネットワーク。なお、前記第3中間ノードは前記第1中間ノード(27)の下流側にある。
- 前記第1中間ノード(27)は、第3中間ノード(17)と宛先ノード(21)との間に設けられた第4中間ノード(19)により消失パケットについて通知される請求項14に記載の通信ネットワーク。
- 代替通信パスは第3中間ノードを含まない請求項15に記載の通信ネットワーク。
- 第2の前記中間ノード(13)は、第1バッファ(73)とは異なるプライオリティクラスを有する第2バッファ(75)を更に含む請求項14に記載の通信ネットワーク。
- データパケット(29a)の再送はプライオリティクラスに対応してスケジュールされている請求項18に記載の通信ネットワーク。
- 第1中間ノード(13)において上流側のノードからのデータパケット(29a)を受信し、
第1中間ノード(13)において前記データパケット(29a)を蓄積し、
前記データパケット(29a)を初期通信パスに沿って第2中間ノードに送信し、
前記第2中間ノード(27)から再送要求を受信し(但し、再送要求においてデータパケット(29a)が第2中間ノードに蓄積されていないことを表示するものである)、
再送要求に応じて、初期通信パスとは異なる、第1中間ノード(13)を起点とする代替通信パスを介してデータパケット(29a)を再送する、
ことを含む方法。 - 前記第1中間ノードは、複数のバッファを含む請求項20の方法。但し各バッファは異なるプライオリティクラスを有する。
- 前記データパケットは、データパケットの第1プライオリテに基づいて複数のバッファーから選択される第1バッファに蓄積される請求項21に記載の方法。
- 上流側ノードはソースノード(11)である請求項20の方法。
- 前記データパケット(29a)の蓄積は、再送要求に先立って行われる請求項20の方法。
- 再送要求は、第2中間ノードと宛先ノード(21)との間に設けられる第3中間ノード(17)の障害に対応する請求項20に記載の方法。
- 代替通信パスは第3中間ノードを含まない請求項25に記載の方法。
