Description

The present invention relates to a lighting apparatus using a light emitting diode.

Conventionally, light bulbs and fluorescent lamps are generally used for illumination, but these light bulbs and fluorescent lamps use light emission due to resistance heat generation and high voltage discharge, so there are many losses due to thermal energy, It cannot cope with energy saving because of its low luminous efficiency. In addition, breakage of the filament, electrode consumption, deterioration of the enclosed gas, etc. are unavoidable, and the product life is short. In addition, fluorescent lamps use harmful substances (mercury), which pollutes the environment when discarded. Or there is a problem that there is a risk of electric leakage or electric shock because it is not waterproof and uses a high voltage.

On the other hand, the performance of light-emitting diodes has improved rapidly, and white light-emitting diodes that are indispensable for lighting have been developed. It is now possible to emit light at a brightness that can be used as sufficient lighting, and light-emitting diodes can be illuminated in earnest. Research that is going to be applied to has become popular.

JP 2003-303504 A

A conventional lighting device using a light emitting diode is configured by filling a housing 1 with a transparent resin having high flexibility and thermal conductivity, and resin molds 3 for a large number of light emitting diodes D and electronic components as a whole.
Embodiment 1 FIG.
1 to 8 show the first embodiment, and FIG. 1 is an external view of a lighting fixture 10 using a light emitting diode with a power supply line 17 facing upward ((a) is a front view, (b) is a front view). 2 is a perspective view in which the cover 16 of the luminaire 10 using the light emitting diode is shifted so that the inside can be seen. FIG. 3 is a plan view showing the luminaire 10 using the light emitting diode. FIG. FIG. 5 is a cross-sectional view taken along line AA of FIG. 3, FIG. 6 is a cross-sectional view taken along line BB of FIG. 3, and FIG. 7 is an illumination using light-emitting diodes. FIG. 8 is an enlarged cross-sectional view on the cap 15a side of the fixture 10, and FIG. 8 is an enlarged cross-sectional view on the cap 15b side of the lighting fixture 10 using a light emitting diode.

As shown in FIG. 1, a lighting fixture 10 using light emitting diodes has an elongated shape as a whole, and a mounting frame 14 (which will be described later in detail) housing a flexible board on which light emitting diodes described later are mounted is covered with a cover 16. A rubber cap 15a and a cap 15b are fitted into both ends of the cover 16 in the longitudinal direction. A power line 17 connected to the flexible substrate is drawn out from the cap 15a.

As shown in FIG. 2, the mounting frame 14 of the lighting fixture 10 using light emitting diodes has an elongated shape, and has a rectangular shape in plan view in which a plurality of light emitting diodes 13 are mounted in a row in the longitudinal direction. A flexible substrate 12 (an example of a substrate) having flexibility is housed in a main body 11 (housing) fixed by adhesion. The reason why the flexible substrate 12 having flexibility is used is that, for example, when the luminaire 10 using a light emitting diode is attached to an uneven structure, the mounting frame 14 also has a complicated shape. This is because a flexible substrate 12 having flexibility is required. Moreover, although the length of the lighting fixture 10 using a light emitting diode differs according to a use and cut | disconnects a board | substrate according to it, if it is the flexible board | substrate 12 which has flexibility, it can cut | disconnect easily. If the mounting frame 14 is a simple linear shape, the flexible substrate 12 may not be used.

The main body 11 is an elongated trihedron whose upper surface and both ends in the longitudinal direction are open, and the cross-sectional shape orthogonal to the longitudinal direction is substantially U-shaped (see also FIG. 5). Aluminum is used as the material of the main body 11, but any metal may be used. An aluminum plate is formed into the above shape by pressing.

A flexible substrate 12 on which the light emitting diode 13 is mounted is fixed to the inner bottom surface of the main body 11 by adhesion, and the light emitting diode 13 is located in a space having a U-shaped cross section of the main body 11.

The light emitting diode 13 and the flexible substrate 12 are entirely coated with a silicon resin coating 21 in order to improve moisture resistance.

The power supply line 17 is connected to the soldering terminal portion 18 of the flexible substrate 12 and pulled out from the cap 15a.

The cover 16 is made of light transmissive PMMA (polymethylmethacrylate) resin, and is engaged with the mounting frame 14 to cover the open surfaces of the upper surface of the main body 11 and the mounting frame 14 by a structure described later. The reason why PMMA is used for the cover 16 is that weathering and heat resistance are required because the luminaire 10 using a light emitting diode is used outdoors. Rubber caps 15 a and 15 b are fitted into openings at both ends in the longitudinal direction of the cover 16. Thereby, when using it outdoors, it suppresses that water permeates into the inside.

FIG. 3 is a plan view of the luminaire 10 using the light emitting diode with the cover 16 side facing up. The luminaire 10 using the light emitting diode has an elongated rectangular shape in plan view and is housed in the flexible substrate 12. This shows that a plurality of light emitting diodes 13 are mounted in a line.

FIG. 4 is a side view of the luminaire 10 using a light emitting diode as viewed from the cap 15b side, and shows that the cap 15b is fitted into one opening end in the longitudinal direction of the main body 11, the mounting frame 14, and the cover 16. ing.

As shown in FIG. 5, the mounting frame 14 has a substantially H-shaped cross section perpendicular to the longitudinal direction. The material of the mounting frame 14 is aluminum, but any metal may be used. And the attachment hole 14a which can fix the lighting fixture 10 using a light emitting diode to constructions, such as a wall and a wooden frame, with the screw | thread 19 etc. is provided in the surface facing the bottom face of the main body 11 of the attachment frame 14. FIG. Furthermore, the outer peripheral surface of the side wall of the attachment frame 14 is provided with an attachment frame protrusion 14b formed over substantially the entire length in the longitudinal direction. Moreover, the attachment frame engaging part 14c formed over the longitudinal direction substantially full length is provided inside the front-end | tip part by the side of the cover 16. FIG. By configuring the main body 11 and the mounting frame 14 from a metal such as aluminum, heat radiation from the light emitting diode 13 to the outside air can be performed satisfactorily.

The main body 11 is housed in a recess on the cover 16 side of the mounting frame 14. The main body 11 includes a main body protrusion 11 a formed on the outer peripheral surface of the side wall over substantially the entire length in the longitudinal direction, engages with the mounting frame engaging portion 14 c of the mounting frame 14, and is held in the mounting frame 14. .

The cover 16 has a substantially U-shaped cross-section perpendicular to the longitudinal direction, and includes a cover engaging portion 16a formed on the inner peripheral surface of the distal end portion of the side wall over substantially the entire length in the longitudinal direction. Then, the cover engaging portion 16 a of the cover 16 is engaged with the attachment frame protrusion 14 b of the attachment frame 14, and the cover 16 is assembled to the attachment frame 14. The engagement between the cover engaging portion 16a of the cover 16 and the mounting frame protrusion 14b of the mounting frame 14 prevents water from entering from the outside.

6 is a cross-sectional view (cross-sectional view taken along the line BB in FIG. 3) parallel to the longitudinal direction of the lighting fixture 10 using a light-emitting diode. As shown in FIG. 6, the mounting frame 14 has screws 19 (FIG. 6). Then, it is fixed to the construction by using 2).

The main body 11 on which the flexible substrate 12 on which the light-emitting diode 13 is mounted is fixed by adhesion is housed in the recess on the side opposite to the construction frame of the mounting frame 14. At this time, the power line retainer 20 is assembled to the end of the main body 11 in the longitudinal direction on the cap 15a side.

The power line 17 connected to the surface of the flexible substrate 12 on which the light emitting diode 13 is mounted is drawn around the outside of the power line retainer 20 and drawn to the building side.

The cover 16 is assembled to the mounting frame 14 that houses the main body 11.

Further, the open surfaces of both ends in the longitudinal direction of the cover 16 are closed with the cap 15a and the cap 15b. The cap 15a is fitted on the side from which the power line 17 is drawn. As shown in the enlarged sectional view on the cap 15a side of the luminaire 10 using the light emitting diode of FIG. 7, one longitudinal end of the main body 11 is fitted inside the cap 15a, and the cap 15a and the power line retainer are pressed. 20 is fixed with the power line 17 interposed therebetween. Further, the outer peripheral portion of the cap 15 a is fitted into the cover 16.

The cap 15b is fitted on the side where the power line 17 is not drawn. The other longitudinal end of the main body 11 is fitted into the cap 15b. Further, the outer peripheral portion of the cap 15 b is fitted into the cover 16.

As described above, in the lighting fixture 10 using the light emitting diode according to the first embodiment, the mounting frame 14 is fixed to the construction, and the flexible substrate 12 on which the light emitting diode 13 coated with the silicon resin is mounted is bonded. The main body 11 is housed in the mounting frame 14, the cover 16 is mounted on the mounting frame 14, and the cap 15a and the cap 15b are fitted at both ends in the longitudinal direction, but it can be used outdoors. Become.
