Abstract
【解決手段】複数の多孔質中空糸膜を一方向に配列した中空糸束8と、複数の熱交換パイプを中空糸束の配列方向に直交する一方向に配列した熱交換パイプ束9と、中空糸膜及び熱交換パイプの両端部を含む領域に亘って充填され中空糸膜及び熱交換パイプを横断して延在する血液流路を形成するポッティング材10とを備える。ハウジングは、血液流路の両端に面する血液ポート3a、3bと、中空糸膜の両端に面してガスポート5a、5bを形成するガスヘッダー4a、4bと、熱交換パイプ束の両端に面して熱交換液ポート7a、7bを形成する熱交換ヘッダー6a、6bとを有する。

Claims (5)
- 複数の多孔質中空糸膜を一方向に配列し積層して形成された中空糸束と、
複数の熱交換パイプを一方向に配列し積層して形成され、前記中空糸束に対してその配列方向を直交させて積層された熱交換パイプ束と、
前記中空糸膜及び前記熱交換パイプ束の両端部を含む領域に充填されて前記中空糸膜及び前記熱交換パイプを横断して延在する血液流路を形成するポッティング材と、
前記中空糸束及び前記熱交換パイプ束を収容し、前記中空糸膜の両端に面して各々ガス入口ポートおよびガス出口ポートを形成するガスヘッダー、前記熱交換パイプ束の両端に面して各々熱交換液入口ポートおよび熱交換液出口ポートを形成する熱交換ヘッダー、及び前記血液流路の両端に面して血液入口ポートおよび血液出口ポートを有するハウジングとを備え、
前記血液流路に血液を流すとともに、前記中空糸膜の内腔に酸素を含むガスを流すことにより、前記血液と前記ガスとの間でガス交換を行わせ、前記熱交換パイプの内腔に熱交換液を流すことにより、前記血液と前記熱交換液との間で熱交換を行わせるように構成された中空糸膜型人工肺において、
前記中空糸束を構成する前記中空糸膜の配列方向に対して、前記熱交換パイプ束を構成する前記熱交換パイプの配列方向を直交させて、前記中空糸束と前記熱交換パイプ束とが密接して積層されたことを特徴とする中空糸膜型人工肺。 - 前記熱交換ヘッダーが形成する前記熱交換液入口ポートおよび前記熱交換液出口ポートは、前記ガス出口ポートと同一の向きに形成されている請求項1に記載の中空糸膜型人工肺。
- 前記熱交換パイプはステンレスパイプである請求項1に記載の中空糸膜型人工肺。
- 前記血液流路は、血液の流動方向における断面が実質的に円形である請求項1に記載の中空糸膜型人工肺。
- 前記ポッティング材により前記中空糸束を横断して形成された血液流路と、前記ポッティング材により前記中空糸束を横断して形成された血液流路とは、互いの境界において段差を形成しない面一の状態に調整されている請求項1に記載の中空糸膜型人工肺。
