Abstract

- 耐摩耗性、耐腐食性及び耐熱性を有する低摩擦係数の皮膜を形成する方法であって、前記方法は、
硬質表面材料粒子を提供する段階と、
固体潤滑剤材料粒子を提供する段階と、
前記皮膜を形成するため前記粒子タイプの両方を基板に塗布する段階であって、前記皮膜が前記硬質表面材料と前記固体潤滑剤材料との混合物を含むところの段階と、
を含む方法。 - 前記硬質表面材料粒子が、クロムカーバイド、タングステンカーバイド、チタンカーバイド、モリブデンカーバイド、及びバナジウムカーバイドのうち一つ以上を含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記硬質表面材料粒子が噴霧乾燥及び焼結工程を用いて製造され、前記硬質表面粒子の粒子サイズが約2μm以下である、請求項2に記載の方法。
- 前記硬質表面材料粒子が噴霧工程を用いて製造され、前記硬質表面粒子の粒子サイズが約0.5μm以下である、請求項2に記載の方法。
- 前記硬質表面材料粒子を、バインダー材料を用いてより大きな硬質相粒子へと凝集させる段階をさらに含み、前記バインダー材料はクロム、モリブデン、バナジウム及び銅のうち一つ以上と合金化されたコバルト、ニッケル及び鉄のうち一つ以上を含む、請求項2に記載の方法。
- 前記硬質表面材料粒子がナノ酸化チタン、ナノ酸化クロム及びナノ酸化アルミニウムのうち一つ以上を含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記硬質表面材料粒子の粒子サイズが、溶射に適したより大きな粒子へと凝集するより前には約0.1μm以下である、請求項6に記載の方法。
- 前記固体潤滑剤材料粒子が、ニッケル、コバルト、銅、モリブデン、金及びそれらの合金で被覆されるかまたは外装されたグラファイト、窒化ボロン、シリコーン、ポリエステル、及びPTFEのうち一つ以上を含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記固体潤滑剤材料粒子が、バインダー材料とともに噴霧乾燥されたグラファイト、窒化ボロン、シリコーン、ポリエステル、及びPTFEのうち一つ以上を含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記バインダー材料がポリビニルアルコールまたはカルボキシメチルセルロースである、請求項9に記載の方法。
- 前記塗布段階が高速酸素フレーム溶射工程、高速空気フレーム溶射工程、高速液体燃料フレーム溶射工程の使用を含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記皮膜には応力がないか圧縮応力を有する、請求項11に記載の方法。
- 前記塗布段階がプラズマ溶射工程の使用を含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記皮膜には応力がないか圧縮応力を有する、請求項13に記載の方法。
- 前記塗布段階がコールドスプレー工程の使用を含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記皮膜には応力がないか圧縮応力を有する、請求項15に記載の方法。
- 前記塗布段階がデトネーション溶射工程の使用を含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記皮膜には応力がないか圧縮応力を有する、請求項17に記載の方法。
- 前記皮膜を所望する表面仕上げ及び寸法へと研磨する段階をさらに含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 耐摩耗性、耐腐食性及び耐熱性を有する低摩擦係数の皮膜であって、
クロムカーバイド、タングステンカーバイド、チタンカーバイド、モリブデンカーバイド、バナジウムカーバイド、ナノ酸化チタン、ナノ酸化クロム及びナノ酸化アルミニウムのうち一つ以上である硬質表面材料粒子を提供する段階と、
第一のバインダー材料を用いて前記硬質表面材料粒子をより大きな硬質相粒子へと凝集させる段階と、
グラファイト、窒化ボロン、シリコーン、ポリエステル、及びPTFEの一つ以上である固体潤滑剤材料粒子を提供する段階と、
第二のバインダー材料を用いて前記固体潤滑剤材料粒子をより大きな粒子へと凝集させる段階と、
前記凝集した硬質表面材料粒子及び前記凝集した固体潤滑剤材料粒子を溶射工程によって基板に塗布する段階とを含む工程によって調製された皮膜。 - 前記硬質表面材料粒子の粒子サイズが約2μm以下である、請求項20に記載の皮膜。
- 前記塗布段階が、高速酸素フレーム溶射工程、高速空気フレーム溶射工程、高速液体燃料フレーム溶射工程、プラズマ溶射工程、コールドスプレー工程及びデトネーション溶射工程のうち少なくとも一つの使用を含む、請求項21に記載の皮膜。
- 前記皮膜には応力がないか圧縮応力を有する、請求項21に記載の皮膜。
