Description

The present invention relates to an electronic component mounting apparatus for mounting electronic components on a printed circuit board, and particularly to a cable support member that supports an electric wire, an air tube, and the like connected to a mounting head.

Conventionally, as shown in FIG. 6, an electric wire or an air tube extends from a predetermined position of a base 56 provided on the upper surface of the X-axis guide of the electronic component mounting apparatus toward the mounting head 52. These upper ends are connected to the mounting head 52 and apply driving force to the mounting head 52 and the suction nozzle.

The mounting head 52 moves along the horizontal plane on the upper surface of the apparatus machine frame, and mounts the electronic component sucked by the suction nozzle provided in the mounting head 52 on the lower printed board. As the mounting head 52 moves, the electric wire and the air tube also move.

In order to support and guide these electric wires and pneumatic tubes and to give them a predetermined movement trajectory, the electric wires and air tubes are passed through a cable support member 53 formed by connecting a number of blocks 54. Have been used.

1)Shokai 58-187645 (Fig. 1)

However, the bending position of the cable support member 53 formed by connecting a large number of blocks 54 moves as the mounting head 52 moves. At this time, wear occurs in pins and holes that connect the blocks 54 and stoppers that define the rotation range of the blocks 54.

As wear increases after long-term use, play occurs between the connected blocks. Due to this looseness, the bending state of the cable support member 53 after long-time use becomes smaller than the initial state.

In such a state, the mounting head 52 is in a state where the cable support member 53 is in contact with the upper surface of the pedestal 56 in a long state (in FIG. 6, the mounting head 52 is at the position B), and in a short state (in FIG. 6). When the mounting head 52 is stopped after being moved to the position A), at the moment of stopping, the inertial force of the cable support member 53 and the inertial force of the electric wires and air tubes inside the cable support member 53 cause As shown in the figure, the cable support member 53 is greatly raised upward F as compared with the original bent state 50 to be in the bent state 51 and exceeds the predetermined rotation range, so that the stopper is further worn. As it progresses, the amount of rotation between the blocks 54 increases, so that the pins and holes connecting the blocks 54 also wear out.

A change in the connection state of the cable support member 53 after the mounting head stops causes the cable support member 53 to vibrate. This vibration may be transmitted to the mounting head 52 and cause a decrease in the stopping accuracy of the mounting head 52. Further, in order to improve the stop accuracy, it is necessary to lengthen the stop time of the mounting head 52.

The present invention has been made to solve the above-described problems, and an object thereof is to provide an electronic component mounting apparatus in which the connection state of the cable support member 53 does not change after the mounting head is stopped. .

In order to solve the above-mentioned problem, the invention according to claim 1 is formed by connecting a mounting head that holds an electronic component and moves along an X-axis guide, and fixed members at both ends by a number of blocks, One end side is supported by the mounting head, folded back into a U-shape, and the other end side is supported at a predetermined position on a pedestal provided on the X-axis guide, and passes through the cable support member. In the electronic component mounting apparatus including a linear member connected to the mounting head, the pedestal is configured so that a radius of the horizontal U-shape is substantially constant when the mounting head is stopped. While supporting the said cable support member from the bottom, it makes the structure which makes | forms the predetermined | prescribed angle extended | stretched so that height may become high in the direction which the length contact | abutted with the said cable support member increases, and the distance from the said mounting head. And at solves the above problems.

According to the first aspect of the present invention, the angle of the pedestal and the distance of the pedestal from the mounting head are formed so that the radius of the folded U-shape is substantially constant when the mounting head is stopped. Therefore, even when the mounting head moves and stops in the direction from the long state to the short state where the pedestal and the cable supporting member abut, the block of the cable supporting member extending from the mounting head has a predetermined block. Since it does not jump up so as to exceed the rotation range, the stopper that defines the rotation range does not wear, and the amount of rotation when the blocks bounce is small, so the pins and holes that connect the blocks also wear out. Because there are very few, the change in the connection state of the cable support member is unlikely to occur due to inertial force when the mounting head is stopped, etc. There.

A first embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIGS.
FIG. 1 is a perspective view of an electronic component mounting apparatus to which the present invention is applied. FIG. 2 is a perspective view of a single block constituting the cable support member. FIG. 3 is an exploded perspective view of the mounting head and the cable support member. FIG. 4 is an assembly view of the mounting head and the cable support member. FIG. 5 is an explanatory view showing the operating state of the cable support member.

The electronic component mounting apparatus 1 includes a mounting head 2 that sucks and holds electronic components and mounts these electronic components on a printed circuit board. The mounting head 2 moves along a horizontal plane at the upper part of the machine frame by an X-axis guide 3 and a pair of Y-axis guides 4 which will be described later.

The mounting head 2 includes a suction nozzle that sucks an electronic component (not shown), a first servo motor that moves the suction nozzle up and down, a second servo motor that rotates the suction nozzle, a pneumatic solenoid valve, and various sensors. .

The mounting head 2 is movably held by an X-axis guide 3 arranged along the X-axis direction. The X-axis guide 3 is movably held by a pair of Y-axis guides 4 arranged at both ends along the Y-axis direction. The pair of Y-axis guides 4 are fixed to a frame (machine frame) 5.

The electronic component mounting apparatus 1 includes an X-axis motor 6 that moves the mounting head 2 in the X-axis direction, and a Y-axis motor 7 that moves the X-axis guide 3 in the Y-axis direction. When the X-axis motor 6 and the Y-axis motor 7 are driven, the mounting head 2 moves along the horizontal plane at the top of the machine frame. Then, after the mounting head 2 is stopped at a predetermined position, the suction nozzle is moved up and down to mount an electronic component on the printed board.

In the electronic component mounting apparatus 1, a linear member 8 such as an electric cable or an air tube is disposed from the air pressure source or the control device inside the machine casing 5 toward the mounting head 2. In order to connect the linear member 8 such as a cable to the mounting head 2, a Y-axis direction cable support member 9 and an X-axis direction cable support member 10 are used. The upper end side of the Y-axis direction cable support member 9 is fixed to the upper part of the machine casing 5 and the lower end side is supported by an X-axis guide 3 as a moving body. The X-axis direction cable support member 10 has an upper end supported by a mounting head 2 as a moving body, and a lower end supported and fixed to a central portion of a base 26 provided on the upper surface of the X-axis guide 3. The pedestal 26 supports the X-axis direction cable support member 10 from below and extends so that the height increases in a direction in which the length in contact with the X-axis direction cable support member 10 increases (that is, the electronic component mounting apparatus). 1) extending at a right angle when viewed from the front of 1).

The linear member 8 passes through the Y-axis direction cable support member 9 from a predetermined position 5a at the upper part of the machine frame.
Next, the linear member 8 is guided from the lower end of the Y-axis direction cable support member 9 to the central portion of the X-axis guide 3 along the X-axis guide 3. Next, it passes through the inside of the X-axis direction cable support member 10 and is connected to the mounting head 2.

Both cable support members 9 and 10 support and guide the linear member 8 so as not to hang down, and give a predetermined movement locus to them.

As shown in FIG. 2, the cable support members 9 and 10 are formed by connecting a large number of blocks (units) 11. The block 11 is composed of two opposing oval plate-like members 12 and two connecting plates 13 that connect them. The plate-like member 12 and the connecting plate 13 form a mouth-shaped opening. A linear member 8 such as an electric wire or a pneumatic tube is guided and supported by this opening.

Both end portions of the two plate-like members 12 are each formed in a semicircular shape. A rotating shaft 14 is formed at the center of one semicircle, and a bearing 15 is formed at the other center.

A cutout portion 16 is formed on the outer surface of the semicircular end portion on the side where the rotation shaft 14 of the block 11 is formed. A stopper 17 is formed on the inner surface of the connecting plate 13. The block 11 can be rotated by fitting the rotating shaft 14 and the bearing 15 between the adjacent cable support members. When the rotating shaft 14 is rotated, the block 17 comes into contact with the stopper 17. Eleven rotation ranges are defined.

The mounting head 2 shown in FIG. 3 is simplified for the sake of explanation.
A pair of attachments 20 are provided at the lower end of the mounting head 2. The pair of fixtures 20 has a support hole 20a formed at the center thereof. A rotating shaft 21 is attached to the support hole 20a.

Below the mounting head 2, a head-side fixture (one end side) 23 as a fixing member is supported by the mounting head 2. The head side fixing tool 23 has a box shape. A mounting portion 23 a that supports the upper end side of the cable support member 10 is formed on the right side surface of the head-side fixture 23. A pair of support portions 23b are projected on the upper surface. A support hole 23c is formed in the support portion 23b.

The rotary shaft 21 is provided with a torsion spring 22 as an elastic member at the center thereof. A torsion spring 22 is arranged on the upper surface of the fixture 23, and an attachment portion 20a of the mounting head 20 is arranged so as to sandwich a pair of support portions 23b of the fixture 23. The rotating shaft 21 is inserted through the support hole 20a of the mounting head and the support hole 23c of the fixture 23 while supporting the torsion spring 22 at the center thereof.
The torsion spring 22 abuts the mounting head 2 at one end and the head-side fixture 23 at the other end.

After the upper end of the cable support member 10 is fitted to the mounting portion 23 a of the head-side fixture 23, it is held by the holding shaft 24. After the lower end of the cable support member 10 is fitted to the mounting portion 25 a of the base-side fixture 25, it is held by the holding shaft 24. Then, the cable support member 10 is folded back in a U-shape, and the base-side fixture (other end side) 25 is supported at a predetermined position of the base 26 provided on the upper surface of the X-axis guide 3.

Further, when the mounting head 2 is in a stopped state, the pedestal 26 supports the cable support member 10 from below and is in contact with the cable support member 10 so that the radius R folded back into a U-shape is substantially constant. A predetermined angle θ extending so as to increase the height in the increasing direction and a distance from the mounting head 2 are formed. Note that the vertical distance from the mounting head 2 to the pedestal side fixture 25 is slightly longer than when the pedestal 26 is horizontally arranged.

With the above configuration, the operation of the present invention will be described with reference to FIG. A state where the distance between the pedestal 26 and the cable support member 10 is short (when the mounting head 2 is at the position A in FIG. 6), or a state where the distance between the pedestal 26 and the cable support member 10 is long (the mounting head in FIG. 6). 2 is at the position B), the mounting angle of the pedestal with respect to the horizontal line, the pedestal 26 and the mounting head so that the radius R of the cable support member 10 folded back into a U-shape is substantially constant. 2, that is, the vertical distance between the mounting head 2 and the pedestal side fixture 25 is set, so that the distance between the pedestal 26 and the cable support member 10 is long (in FIG. 6, the mounting head 2 is at the position B). Even when the mounting head 2 moves and stops in a state where the distance between the base 26 and the cable support member 10 is short (when the mounting head 2 is at position A in FIG. 6). It becomes as flexion 29 bouncing upward from the bent state 28 of the cable support member 10 in a stopped state of de 2, flexion 29 never splashed upward from the horizontal line H that passes through the holding shaft 24.

Accordingly, since the block 11 does not attempt to rotate beyond the specified rotation range of the cable support member 10, the stopper 17 is worn because the stopper 17 of the block 11 does not collide with the end of the notch 16. In addition, because the amount of rotation is small because the block does not bounce up very much, the pins and holes that connect the blocks also have very little wear, so the connection state of the cable support member changes due to the inertial force when the mounting head stops. Since it is difficult, there is no possibility that the accuracy of stopping the mounting head will decrease.

In the above embodiment, the X-axis direction cable support member 10 is concerned. However, it is easy to apply the pedestal 26 to the Y-axis direction cable support member 9 by replacing the mounting head 2 with the X-axis guide 3. It is done. That is, in FIG. 1, the Y-axis direction cable support member 9 has an upper end fixed to the upper part of the machine frame 5 (a lower surface of the upper part of the machine frame) and a lower end side supported by the X-axis guide 3 as a moving body. A base 26 is provided between the lower surface of the upper part of the machine frame and the upper surface of the cable support member 9, and a predetermined angle that extends so that the lower surface of the base 26 is lowered in the direction from the front side to the rear side of the electronic component mounting apparatus 1. What is necessary is just to comprise.
