Abstract
【解決手段】セラミックス粒子と造孔材となる可燃性粉末とを含む成形体を焼成し、前記可燃性粉末を焼失させることにより、多孔質セラミックス構造体を製造する方法であって、前記可燃性粉末の示差熱分析から求められる発熱量が0〜35μV・分/mgである多孔質セラミックス構造体の製造方法。

[測定条件]
昇温速度:10℃/分
空気流量:100mL/分
測定装置:マック・サイエンス社製 TG−DTA 2000S
測定温度:25〜1000℃
試料質量:約10mg
骨材原料粒子として、カオリン(平均粒子径10μm)、タルク(平均粒子径30μm)、水酸化アルミニウム(平均粒子径3μm)、アルミナ(平均粒子径6μm)、及びシリカ(平均粒子径20μm)の5種類の粒子を、19:40:15:14:12の比率で含むものを用意した。そして、この骨材原料粒子100質量部に対して、有機バインダとしてヒドロキシプロピルメチルセルロース6質量部を添加した後、この混合物に表1に示した造孔材(可燃性粉末)を所定量添加して3分間混合し、更に、この混合物に水を所定量、噴霧しながら添加して3分間混合した。その後、この混合物をシグマ型ニーダにより60分間混練して坏土を得、その坏土を、更に真空土練機により混練し、押し出すことにより、円筒状に成形された坏土を得た。

Claims (4)
- セラミックス粒子と造孔材となる可燃性粉末とを含む成形体を焼成し、前記可燃性粉末を焼失させることにより、多孔質セラミックス構造体を製造する方法であって、
前記可燃性粉末の示差熱分析から求められる発熱量が0〜35μV・分/mgである多孔質セラミックス構造体の製造方法。 - 前記成形体が、示差熱分析から求められる発熱量が0〜20μV・分/mgである可燃性粉末を、前記セラミックス粒子100質量部に対し5〜50質量部含むものである請求項1記載の多孔質セラミックス構造体の製造方法。
- 前記可燃性粉末が、ポリアセタール又はポリ乳酸樹脂の粉末である請求項1又は2に記載の多孔質セラミックス構造体の製造方法。
- 前記多孔質セラミックス構造体が、ハニカム構造体である請求項1ないし3の何れか一項に記載の多孔質セラミックス構造体の製造方法。
