Abstract
【解決手段】本発明は、複数個のR、G、B LED素子が行と列に配列された面光源において、隣接している2つの緑色LEDと、これに隣接して一つの赤色LEDと青色LEDを順番に配置した第1LED配列、および隣接している2つの緑色LEDと、これに隣接して一つの青色LEDと赤色LEDを順番に配置した第2LED配列と、を含み、上記第1および第2LED配列は任意の行または列に配置され、上記第1および第2LED配列は2つの緑色LEDを取り囲むLEDが赤色または青色LEDからなる面光源とこれを備えたLCDバックライトユニットを提供する。

Claims (4)
- 複数個の赤色LED,緑色LED、および青色LEDが行と列に配置された面光源において、
2つの緑色LED、一つの赤色LED、および一つの青色LEDを、これらの順に隣接して配置した第1LED配列、および、
2つの緑色LED、一つの青色LED、および一つの赤色LEDを、これらの順に隣接して配置した第2LED配列を含み、
前記第1および前記第2LED配列は任意の行または列に配置され、
前記2つの緑色LEDを取り囲むLEDが、赤色LEDまたは青色LEDからなる
ことを特徴とする面光源。 - 前記第1および第2LED配列は、各々複数で対を成して順番に繰り返し配置されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の面光源。
- 前記第1および第2LED配列は、各々その配置の位置が2個のLED位相互ずれて(offset)配置され、2つの前記緑色LEDは相互上下または左右に重畳配置されない構造であることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の面光源。
- LCDパネルに付着されたLCDバックライトユニットにおいて、
隣接している2つの緑色LEDと、これに隣接して一つの赤色LEDと青色LEDとを順番に配置した第1LED配列および、隣接している2つの緑色LEDと、これに隣接して一つの青色LEDと赤色LEDとを順番に配置した第2LED配列を含み、前記第1および第2LED配列は任意の行または列に配置され、前記第1および第2LED配列は2つの前記緑色LEDを取り囲むLEDが赤色LEDまたは青色LEDからなる面光源と、
前記面光源から入射された光を均一に拡散させる拡散シート、および
前記拡散シートから拡散された光を集光する集光シートと、を含むことを特徴とするLCDバックライトユニット。
