Abstract
【解決手段】パワーコイルが生じる機関回転数を示す出力とパルサコイルが生じる点火時期を示す出力をECUに入力し、パワーコイルとパルサコイルのそれぞれが出力を生じているか否か判断する(S14,S16)と共に、パルサコイルが出力を生じている一方、パワーコイルが出力を生じていないと判断されるとき、パワーコイルが断線していると判定する(S26)。

Claims (6)
- 汎用内燃機関の出力軸の回転に伴って出力を生じる複数個のコイルを備えた汎用内燃機関において、前記複数個のコイルが生じる前記出力を入力し、前記複数個のコイルのそれぞれが前記出力を生じているか否か判断する判断手段と、前記複数個のコイルの一部が前記出力を生じていないと判断されるとき、前記一部のコイルが断線していると判定する判定手段とを備えることを特徴とする汎用内燃機関。
- 前記複数個のコイルの中に機関回転数を示す出力を生じるコイルが含まれることを特徴とする請求項1記載の汎用内燃機関。
- さらに、前記一部のコイルが断線していると判定されたとき、前記汎用内燃機関の停止動作および操作者への報知動作の少なくともいずれかを実行する動作実行手段を備えることを特徴とする請求項1または2記載の汎用内燃機関。
- 汎用内燃機関の出力軸の回転に伴って機関回転数を示す出力を生じる第1のコイルと、前記出力軸の回転に伴って前記汎用内燃機関の点火時期を示す出力を生じる第2のコイルとを備えた汎用内燃機関において、前記第1のコイルと前記第2のコイルが生じる前記出力を入力し、前記第1のコイルと前記第2のコイルのそれぞれが前記出力を生じているか否か判断する判断手段と、前記第2のコイルが前記出力を生じている一方、前記第1のコイルが前記出力を生じていないと判断されるとき、前記第1のコイルが断線していると判定する判定手段とを備えることを特徴とする汎用内燃機関。
- 前記判定手段は、前記第2のコイルが前記出力を所定回数生じる間に前記第1のコイルが前記出力を生じなかったとき、前記第1のコイルが断線していると判定することを特徴とする請求項4記載の汎用内燃機関。
- さらに、前記第1のコイルが断線していると判定されたとき、前記汎用内燃機関の停止動作および操作者への報知動作の少なくともいずれかを実行する動作実行手段を備えることを特徴とする請求項4または5記載の汎用内燃機関。
