Abstract
【解決手段】 半導体レーザは、光ビームを出射し、振動ミラー104は、半導体レーザによって出射された光ビームを反射して被走査面を走査し、振動ミラー駆動回路110は、駆動電圧が所定の駆動周波数で変化する駆動信号を振動ミラー104に供給し、振動ミラー104を所定の角度範囲で往復振動させ、電圧変動検出回路112は、駆動電圧の変化量を検出し、駆動周波数生成回路113は、電圧変動検出回路112によって検出された駆動電圧の変化量に応じて駆動周波数を変化させる。

Claims (4)
- 光ビームを出射する光源手段と、
前記光源手段によって出射された光ビームを感光体ドラム上に反射させ、往復振動することにより前記感光体ドラム上を走査する振動ミラーと、
前記振動ミラーを所定の角度範囲で往復振動させるための駆動信号を前記振動ミラーに供給する振動ミラー駆動手段とを備え、
前記振動ミラー駆動手段は、
前記駆動信号の駆動電圧の変化量を検出する検出手段と、
前記検出手段によって検出された駆動電圧の変化量に応じて前記駆動信号の駆動周波数を変化させる駆動周波数変更手段とを備えることを特徴とする画像形成装置。 - 前記駆動周波数変更手段は、前記駆動電圧が低下した場合、現在の駆動周波数よりも低くなる駆動周波数を生成し、前記駆動電圧が上昇した場合、現在の駆動周波数よりも高くなる駆動周波数を生成することを特徴とする請求項1記載の画像形成装置。
- 前記駆動電圧の変化量に対応する駆動周波数をテーブル形式で予め記憶するテーブル記憶手段をさらに備え、
前記駆動周波数変更手段は、前記検出手段によって検出された駆動電圧の変化量に対応する駆動周波数を前記テーブル記憶手段から読み出し、読み出した駆動周波数に現在の駆動周波数を変更することを特徴とする請求項1記載の画像形成装置。 - 前記駆動電圧の変化量に対応する駆動周波数を表す関数を予め記憶する関数記憶手段をさらに備え、
前記駆動周波数変更手段は、前記検出手段によって検出された駆動電圧の変化量を、前記関数記憶手段に記憶されている関数に代入して駆動周波数を求め、求めた駆動周波数に現在の駆動周波数を変更することを特徴とする請求項1記載の画像形成装置。
